Not my greatest time spent in a Red Roof Inn. The room smelled strongly of cigarettes, even though this is supposed to be a smoke-free hotel. I'm actually not sure what's supposed to make this hotel a 'plus' because it doesn't have much at all in its basic rooms. I've been in cheaper Red Roof Inns (non-pluses) that were in much better condition and had refrigerators/microwaves in every room. I'm not very impressed with this place. I can say the service was pleasant, which was the biggest 'plus' of all!

Never judge a book... I must say I was very impressed when I got to my room. The room was very clean, no smells of old lingering smoking odors. It was fresh and clean smelling. You can tell they take good care of this property. The staff at the desk are courteous and very helpful. Me and Fluffy got in from the airport early, tired and hungry...they were kind enough to let me check in a little early. Thank God the room was available. I was very grateful. It was my kitty's 1st time flying. It's conveniently located about 4 miles from the Airport, about 4 miles from Penrose Plaza, 2 blocks from Wawa's and next door to Denny's. Great, great location!!! The prices are very good and they honor third party booking. Didn't have any issues with that. The room didn't have fridge or microwave, small set backs. With things so close it really wasn't a major one. Thanks Red Roof Inn Plus!ππ½βΊοΈ

The room is spacious. It appeared clean. The linens were clean and neat. The room and the linens had an unpleasant odor. Though the wooden floor appeared clean it had lots of dirt on it. The AC sounded like a rocket all the time when it was on. There was a big sound of water flow from the bathroom in the middle of the night and I woke up with the sound, but found it was not from my bathroom. The hallway and the stairs were looking as if those were never cleaned. The reception area is a little tiny space and I was kind of broiling there during the check in process, there is no AC, no fan. The proper reception area is still closed. The deluxe room I had had good furnishing. There was a coffee machine with it's supplies, a fridge and a microwave. Location is good. There are other hotels in the same location and a Dennys. The price for one night was $130 which I thought was not reasonable for the type of hotel that it is.

I stayed five nights at the red roof plus (April 27th -May 2). It was the best deal on Priceline for the number of days I stayed in Philly. My room was clean other than roach painted behind the door and the yellowish sheets supposed to be white. My issue was not with the room, it was with the cleaning service and the front office and the lack of communication. When checking in, I saw on the wall that a cleaning service is only available for stays longer than three days. I was alright with that however they only gave us towels for one day. The next day, we ask for towels, but the cleaning staff was gone for the day. The next morning, we had to track down the cleaning staff and ask. The lady was nice after explaining to me that I needed to speak to the office for more towels and cleaning the room while we were out. She did right my name and room number on a piece of paper on a clipboard and said she would deliver them after 11 am. 11 am came around and in fear of the staff leaving for the day again, my husband walked around the rooms and found the lady. He was able to get towels for another night. On the third day, we were surprised when returning to our room. The room was not cleaned. and the garbage was not taken out. Also, we had no clean sheets or towels. So we walked down to the office to speak to them about the situation. We were told to speak to the manager in the morning. On the fourth day, we went to the office to speak to someone who was not the manager. She told us that since Covid, they do not go in the rooms anymore. I advised that our stay was five days and that the room needed to be cleaned and that we need new towels. The lady apologized for the towel and took us to the laundry room and brought us out fresh towels. She then told us to speak to the manager in the morning. That day, we went downtown to the museum and to explore. We went by a convenience store and that is when I decided to purchase cleaning supplies and clean our room myself. On the last day, we checked out at about 10 am. During check-out, I spoke to the manager and told him about our experience. He told me that he will send my complaint to someone and they should get back to me. I asked for a case number, he advised me that it would be in an email sent to me. He also stated I should receive compensation for the incident. Needless to say, I never received an email or a phone call. I would not recommend this Inn. I know you pay for what you get but I have stayed in red roof inns in the past and I never have been treated this poorly. Angelia B.

Donβt put a credit card on file. They charged me after my stay and noone will tell me why or give me a refund. Run away from the place.
I believe their check in is at 3 but a lot of hotels if you get their hour or maybe even two sometimes they'll let you in that's if you have a reservation
