A person can have an intellectual, mental health issues or a physical disability that may alternate or impair a persons perception. But yet they are rude and wanna rush and talk over a person with a disability as if their not human.. horrible 👎

Went there to get my SSN. Pretty fast service. Booked an appointment for 9am. They took me in at 9.15. I was out by 9.30. Take only the essential items you need so you can avoid long security checks. The staff is friendly and helpful.

A guy named Tom was extremely rude when I called to ask the status of my SSN. I have applied my SSN on April 29th and had no update till May 13th. I called on May 10th before that. His exact words were " was I not clear to you that day, you should stop calling me. Whenever there's an update, you will get your card". I mean yes I am desperate to get my card as I have to start my job from May 17th. But that does not give anyone the right to be rude at me. Everyone except that guy is polite and I wish I don't have to speak to him ever again.

Tried calling to get information so I can get my daughters social security card expedited to me so I can move forward with housing & the guy was EXTREMELY rude and when I asked to speak to someone else was told there was no one else to speak to so I asked to speak to a supervisor he tells me there’s no supervisors and responds “it doesn’t matter if you speak to the head of the dept there going to tell you the same thing” so I ask to speak to the head of the dept or at least a supervisor and he hangs up!! You’d think the government would be more willing to help but NOPE just want our money

Please help me to apply for disability.
No just walk in with id
I'm no longer related to
Yes go in or call them account number and routing number
Well let me tell you from my experience I too had this experience that you are having when I received the letter of the judge decision it was in my favor it took about two weeks before I got a letter from Social Security stating how much I'm going to get or come into the office it took me 10 years
It looks like they may still make appointments, but there are lots of chairs available in the waiting area also. Just remember to wear a mask, it is still required here.
Yes u can because you passed the age of 65 but you only get half of your benefits
I was told that they weren't making appointments so I just came in. Masks are mandatory, seating is six chairs apart from each other. I'm up next, and the wait here was less time than I spent on hold...
They are going to ask you to mail in a demographic letter from your doctor
No they aren't fully back open, if the card is for you apply online if it's for your child you need the form and your idea, their birth certificate and insurance card. Takes about 10 days to get it.
Call the social security office they will send you paperwork needed. I had an appt 3 days after I called
Yes
You have to call to make an in person appt
Go to the federal building on pearl street and they will give you a number to call. They're open Monday
Ok the gloversville ny office is close he said
Hi you have to fix an appointment thru online walk ins are not allowed. Also write a petition and can fax also.
Not nessesarly..he could just go as a walk in..if he can bring his driver's license..official birth certificate..a letter sent to him that would be his proof of address..would be acceptable..
Call your State Attorney General's office.
I did not receive my 2019 form for income tax, how can I get it?I
On the street you can park.
How to walk to Social Security
I am having a hard difficult time understanding what you saying how do you change the routing information you call SSI and you got the verify your bank information from your old bank account and once you see a bear fight at with you then you can give them the information on your new account that's the only way I can see you can change your routing number with I hope this can help
You need 2 documents. Photo ID such as Driver's license or non driver's ID, employee ID card, school ID, passport, a health insurance card can also be used (not medicare) etc. And something to prove your age; birth certificate, or hospital record of birth can be accepted, passport, ect.
There are meters across the street but no parking lot
This office is open.
Parking is on the street around the building. There are meters, so bring plenty of change (quarters).
Best way is probably call the office first and make an appointment. Or, tell them over the phone.
What kind of answers are those, Joyce? Helen, you can set up an appointment to go there and request an updated card.
You can enroll online at Ssa. go or go to the local office. In the SSA office, you may have a wait.
You don't have to
You would need to contact the Social Security Office for a definitive answer.
Y s just go to the local office it Federal so it in any social security office. Just need id and social security card and where you live of your current address for proof.
As far as I know from experience is that on SSI for disability you can work. The clause is that you cannot make more than $1000 monthly. If you do, you have a 9 month trial period and will keep receiving your payments. After the 9th month if you are making more than $1000 a month you will lose your benefits. If you leave the job due to your disability before that you in the clear. If not you will lose your benefits after the ninth month.
