I just called. Made me feel like a non us citizen. Can't believe they want all ur info. My state license n social should be enough they want your birth certificate. Um hello who ask for that? She said you can go somewhere else. As a latina I was offerened. Like lady my id license of Florida has point system (birth certificate, social security, bill, passport, etc. meaning we have proven by law who I am. I'm disgusted with this. I will push for media n online to discuss this clinic. No reason we should give ppl who are not in government my birth certificate. You are not here to help. Made me feel like a non us citizen. I'm in so much pain and couldn't make a appointment. Thank u for making me feel uncomfortable and unwanted.

The people here truly care about the people, not the paycheck. So many talented caring doctors, nurses etc. I have never, in my lifetime, been treated at any hospital or doctors office, as well as I am treated here! When I am back on my feet, this will be the first place I donate my money to!!!

The people that answer the phones or that call you to make appointments are some of the rudest people I have ever dealt with. If you have any questions regarding your care they accuse you of being argumentative or not wanting care. This is how the free clinic treats patients. Are we not entitled to get good care with someone speaking to you with respect because were getting "free care"? It's no surprise that the review rate is no where near a 5 star. It is subpar at best. The only positive I will say is the gentleman at the door, I'm sorry I don't remember his name but he is super kind and helpful. One time I picked up meds and after waiting 20 min and the person that came after me receiving theirs I asked how much longer it would be the woman said i don't even know who you are. Just as example of how rude they are.

I have been a patient here since 2010 & have always been treated with the utmost respect and received what I feel, is excellent health care. I see 2 specialists here, as well as a GP on a regular basis. I have never had any negative experience with any of the staff. In my experience, everyone from the reception desk, the intake people, the doctors & the pharmacy, have always been very friendly & professional. Which makes me wonder how some of the people writing the negative reviews about the staff on here, are treating the staff that they are complaining about. You treat people how you would like to be treated. With my health problems, I would be in a lot of trouble without this clinic. And so would most of the other patients. I have sat in the waiting room here, after my appointment for my prescription refills, and overheard people complain about their wait time for their refills on many occasions. Maybe they feel they are more important than the people who were ahead of them, but it can be annoying for those of us that are very thankful we are getting the medicines we need & are more than happy to wait 20- 40 minutes for those prescriptions to be refilled. And as far as the donations for everything I receive here, no matter how much I put in the box, I always wish I had more to donate. I for one, am very appreciative for all of the staff & the services I receive from the clinic.

open Monday - Thursday 8:30-6pm. Yes they are free. They ask for donation of whatever you can afford if you can and you put in a jar when checking out. Everybody there volunteers so the donations keep them open.
I am sorry for your experience but I'm not surprised. When my daughter and I went for help, it was awful. They were nasty, rude and careless.
They are not paid by the county, nor the state, nor the federal government. All their funds come from citizen donations, fund raisers, and private grants. Why don't you become a volunteer like I am and help us. Clearwater free clinic is not the County Health Department.
Yes but they only had a limited amount, I was too late and didnt get one. Sorry..
On Wednesday mornings we provide school physicals. You need to be at the Clinic at 8:30 AM to sign up. Please visit www.clearwaterfreeclinic.org to see what documents you need to bring.
Hi Mr. Jones, You can come into the clinic to meet with our new patient coordinator to see if you qualify Monday through Thursday from 8:30AM & 6:00PM. We do have a few other requirements besides being uninsured that will be discussed with you. Or you can go to www.clearwaterfreeclinic.org and see if you are eligible.
the Pinellas County Health Dept has pre-natal. The CFC has GYN for womens issues and can take care of you after you have the baby if you have any chronic or acute problems.
Hi, The Clearwater Free Clinic refers all STD testing to the Pinellas County Health Dept.
The Clinic has gynecologists who volunteer however to see one you have to be referred by a one of the Clinic's primary care physician/practitioners. That means that you would have to qualify and register as a patient and see one of our primary care practitioners first and they would refer you to our gynecologist if warranted. Hope that helps.
