The two ladies guarding the gate, one pretty and , one older and harried. A few words, embarrassing, humiliating, dehumanizing, patronizing. I didn't happen to be eligible. For them cruel is better than kind.

They saved my husband's life. When asking for help, remember, those gals are overwhelmed.....and they do the work for free. And we all have rough days.....
