I went in looking for a collar and harness for my new puppy. The young lady that helped me was patient, answered all of my questions, and even directed me to sale items. I found exactly what I needed, and she made sure to let me know that I could return the items if they weren't the right size. She also gave me info about other services available through Pet Supermarket. Their prices are very competitive, some even cheaper, and they have a better selection than other stores in the area. I highly recommend!

While the store did not carry what I needed, the staff was excellent. When searching for specific dog foods, supplements, and other items they knew where to look and made helpful suggestions. I would definitely revisit this place.

I come here all the time for their wonderful fish and live aquatic plants selection! They take good care of their fish and almost always have exactly what I need! So I continue to check in to see what they have and then I saw him! The sweetest little ferret I’d ever met. You could tell the girls who work here played with him often and they had named him (Wolf/Wolfie). I now call him Munchkin, he is by far the most well behaved ferret. Follows me around the house begging to be picked up and loves cuddles! So we used up all the money on our cards to get him and it’s been the best purchase I’ve ever made! Then I went in to see if they had a selection of guppies, and I found the smaller girl “Mischief,” and I could not help but take her home. They have since become the best of friends and bring me all the serotonin! Thank you to the wonderful people who work here! This store and its employees Have always been incredibly helpful and sweet!

Pet Supermarket in MT. Dora, FL -- This is my favorite pet store. It's new and clean; it's huge inside, and they have everything for cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, etc. Their prices are good, and their employees are really nice. This store is in a really nice shopping plaza near Hobby Lobby and KFC off Rte 441 in west Mt. Dora. Their outside is also new and clean; even their parking lot is new & clean. I have had indoor cats all my life, and I have been shopping there for years, and will continue to do so. They have lots of brands of cat food, loads of cat toys, nice cat bedding, big sturdy cat climbing structures, strong cat carriers, etc. This is a great place to adopt a cat. They don't always have cats for adoption, but when they do, the cats are really nice ones, in good health. The cages in which they are held are new, clean, and very nice, with new clean soft bedding. The cats are thoroughly vetted and come with full records of vaccinations, spaying, etc. These records are attached to the cages for you to inspect, with the license & rabies tags, and the chip documentation. I recently lost my dear Ali Cat, who was 18 years old, and my dearest little companion and friend. I have been heartbroken over her passing, and cried my eyes out for weeks. I have been going to Pet Supermarket every week lately looking for a new cat, and just yesterday (1/12/22) they had a really nice little kitten and I adopted her. She is a real sweetheart, very friendly, and I love her already. This store gets 5 stars from me - a big clean store in a good location, with a wide variety of good products, fair prices, and great employees.
