We drive from the beaches to come here and always feel well taken care of and not rushed through the visit. Our vet tech, Conner/Connor (sp?), was amazing with our spicy little dog who hates the vet. He was even able to trim his nails which is quite a feat when dealing with our little guy. We hope he will be there next visit to care for our boy.

Felt very rushed to get out of the door and got a run around of try to find out what's wrong with my animal. They did not provide adequate information and also referred us away from them when our primary vet is them. We are fostering an animal and are required to go through them. They said that they spoke to the vet we are fostering the cat through and they are closed. So, doesn't make much sense how you can talk to them if they're closed. They also wouldn't give me any information on my own animal I'm fostering. I was told to go through them in case of emergency and once we did that they referred us away during business hours stating it was to late knowing that they are our only option for our foster.

We have been going to Clay Humane since we moved down to Florida 8 years ago. They always have the friendliest staff and doctors who truly love what they do. Today we had to make one of the hardest choices and they all were there for us during the tough times. Definitely recommend them for your pets needs!

Kind courteous and incredible!! They spayed our 2 y/o Bengal mix. They were super sweet with here. She wasn't feeling too hot 2.5weeks after and they took us in right away. Got her back to feeling like the Star she is. Best vet ever. Informative, honest, they are not a clinic who is out for the almighty dollar. They are heros helping animals every single day; unconditionally.

When will be the next free cat spay or neuter date?
For dogs it goes by weight
I donated toys so yes they do and they are very grateful
The fee is $5.00 for the rabies shot the spay/ neutering is free
No volunteers in the clinic. however they are always looking for volunteers to help at fundraisers!
They need to be in a trap, cost is $25.00 and it's on Tuesday's. Get there early because they only have so many openings. I was told around 6:00-6:30.
Quality in low price ranges, depending on need.
If your wanting to get the cat fixed and shots just call. But they are not a shelter
I don't know. I had an appointment. And they don't answer phone calls. Maybe the best bet is to stop by
Yes
Youd have to call and ask specifically
I can answer this question... No, they do not declaw cats, nor do they dock tails or crop ears. No cosmetic surgeries are done at Clay Humane. We recommend Soft Paws for the cats, and a good scratching post!
No they do not. Hidden Hills does as well as the Exotic Bird Hospital.
No idea .. I have a 🐈 sorry
Not certain, I think 12:30-1:30.
Call the County Animal Control.
No, they do not. They are not a shelter facility, they are veterinary hospital. Bring the cats to Clay County Animal Services, our county's government run dog/cat pound, or you can check with SAFE Animal Shelter, but they are frequently full.
Not sure but they would be cheaper than the majority of the clinics around and they have the best staff .
Sure. Tell them what breed you want. I would check with the safe animal shelter. They have cats and dogs available for adoption.
Yes. And they take Care Credit.
I don't know who Cherie is that answered above, but the clinic is open until 5pm. NOT closed for rain...they don't close because of rain. 😐
$70. And you have to pay up front when you call to make the appointment. I just had my cats spayed in July 12th
Am not sure if they do
I did not see any bunnies.
No, they are a vet clinic.
All current pricing is on their website. I think it is clayhumane.com?
Clay humane is a cheap vet service
I would call ahead to make sure.
This is highly unusual for this place. Hold times are usually less than 5 minutes.
Good morning I suggest you call them directly, I'm only a client.
If Not there's also a low cost Animal Clinic around the corner on Blanding it's called Maverick is behind Gordon Chevrolet.
Rate for dogs depends on size. I would suggest calling and explaining your situation. Maybe they have some fee reductions for seniors or people on a fixed budget. Their prices are really good either way though.
Usually you make an appointment and have to bring them in. I would think that some kind of special arrangements can be made for seniors. I understand the emotional toll of feral cats being on their own. A neighbor put several cats outside a few years ago and they have multiplied so much that it's not very healthy for them or the other neighbors in our area. Call the Filmore location and if they can't help, you can call 211 and hopefully get resources. Hope that helps. I know this is horrible, but if you refrain, they will move on.
It's a low cost animal clinic. The name is misleading, but their services and prices are amazing! Bring them here after you find your forever friend!
Go to Google and see if you can find a, 'no kill' shelter and ask if they know anyone who will, 'foster' the kitten. GOOD LUCK♡
Call them they have ER on Fri & Sat starting at 5pm
I don't believe so, they're not a shelter, they're more of a veterinarian clinic at this location.
You can look online as well, they have price lists for just about everything they offer.
Call and ask. They are opening again right now i think for extended hours.
Check the website for their number and call to ask. Not sure what the age limit is.
Herman are you looking for a Low cost Vet or a Shelter for a small dog?
I would call them about the low income, but you are not going to beat their prices anywhere else.
I paid about $120 here to have my Chihuahua spayed. She was in heat when i had her fixed and i paid for the lazer therapy after so i had extra fees.
They will examine to make sure it's in the dogs best interest and if it is they will. I had a lab that was not hardly able to walk to go outside to go thy o the bathroom and was messing in the house, not eating and they put him down. They gave me a few minutes with him since I could not bear to be in with him while they gave him the shot and they stayed with him until he went. I stayed outside. They are so nice, I take my other dogs there on a regular bases since they are their vets. now.
You can call them to set up an account in your pet's name as a memorial fund. 9042767729
The Clay County Humane Society will spay or neuter kittens based on weight. They will not spay or neuter a kitten that is below 3 lbs. The average is usually 4 to 6 months though. Call early to get an appointment, they are usually booked a couple of months in advance! P. S. All cat spays and neuters are completely free!
So what is it you are looking for? A shelter / rescue or just someone to get rid of them them for you. There are plenty of places and people who would help, but you need to be responsible and not just have "them taken away "!!!Please
This is a vets office. I believe the pound in penny farms will get it once it's caged.
You could also try Maverick Animal Hospital off Madison on Blanding by Ridgeview High School. I don't know if they do rabbits but I know that she used to take care of my ferrets.
If there is a sick bird in clay county, who should I call to help
Clay Humane doesn't have animals for adoption. You'll have to go to The Humane Society in Jacksonville or PetSupermarket/Petco.
I asked about it and was told $75.00
Call the fronr desk...very heloful
You can get to it by logging into your pet portal. Go to the clay humane website. Under clinic click pet portal, click your pets profile, then shopping at the top of the page.
US health certificates I believe they do. I don't believe they do OFA however they just got a brand new state of the art digital Xray system, so it's worth asking about. Don't know what BM is?
If you are asking if the office used volunteer services i don't know you would have to ask them. I love the Drs & the whole staff i think it's a great place to take my loved pet.
Lori Coleman's right. My kitty is a patient there as well. Just gotta call em. If it's urgent, they'll see you asap or steer you to the next available facility. Good luck 😊😊
I Agree with Jorge. This really isnt the place on the internet to ask those kinds of questions. This is a place for people to do Q&As on experiences and policies for specific locations that Google senses you have been or been within close proximity to with their GPS feature on your phone.
They really don't have walk in better to call 1st.
For cats, it is free. When I scheduled my cat to go in, the earliest appointment was about a month from the day I was calling, just to give you an idea of how long it can take to get in for that particular service. There is a price for dogs that varies based on weight. The prices can be found on their website.
Clay Humane is not a shelter and does not take in animals. You can try SAFE Animal Shelter, or if they don't have room, you can bring them to the Clay County Animal Control on SR 16.
You will need to be a current patient and your dog will need to have a bortadellus or dog flu shot. I don't know the exact prices, but for surgeries its usually done by a morning drop off at 7:30 to 8:30 and afternoon pickup 3:30 to 4:30 It is a low cost animal clinic so while whatever it costs will be cheaper be prepared, There is a high volume of customers so the wait 20-30 minutes to drop off and 20-30 minutes for pick up.
This location is a low cost clinic for pet owners. Occasionally, they have a few kittens in the lobby that are looking for an adoption. If you're looking to adopt a canine companion here in Clay County, you will find them at the Clay County Care & Control (a kill shelter) that is located on state road 16 & there is the Safe Animal Shelter (No Kill) that is on county road 220.
