I started golfing here back in December 2021 and my experience has been very good. I'm taking lessons from one of the golf pros and really have enjoyed the instruction to improve my swing. The course is challenging and generally well maintained. Though, the turf at the golf ranges could use some TLC. The restaurant menu has decent variety and servers are super friendly, efficient and accommodating. There is a neighboring public course which also extends some benefits to members of the Bayou Club.

Fun course! The place plays a nice challenge with firm greens that are still receptive to spin. The greens roll quick, but not too crazy. Bunkers aren’t too fluffy. But the fairways are very nice. But some areas of the course seem to suffer with drainage issues, some areas are drenched when it hasn’t rained much lately. The rough is a nice length, but can make the ball hard to find.
