Poor customer service I ask if I can pick up my package that was in this location they said they don't have time to look for it really sad they operate this way for public service

I've been going to this PO for decades, and even through budget crunches and the changes that have happened here, these folks have never failed to impress. I was tracking a package a few days ago when I got a notice of an exception, (possibly a sorting error) but the message was that my package was going to be returned. I called the 800 number and the direct number to Forest hills PO simultaneously . The 800 # answered first and all the lady could do to assist was to enter a complaint, right about then Gilly answered the phone at the branch and was not only eager to help but effective. I hung up on the complaint chick, and went forward with Gilly who not only found my package, he figured out the exception and had it redirected to be delivered the next day, saving weeks of cross country travel and a huge delay in motorcycle brakes, which were kind of important. The level of service I have had, and continue to receive from the folks here is outstanding.

I paid for shipping through amazon and they never even delivered it. The day it was suppose to be delivered it was raining so I guess they didn’t feel like delivering it. They just held it at the facility and told amazon that I put a request for it to be picked up from there office which I NEVER DID!

I've always had good experiences here. They work pretty fast, they've always been courteous to me, and they always seem to be well stocked with the different mailing supplies. The clerk with the long braids is always so kind and helpful.

Call 1-800-332-0317 to request a claim form be mailed to your USPS mailing address. Filing a claim form online may not go thru...

My mail box clearly says the names of people that should be receiving mail here why is there other people mail still coming to my house why is my ship to return package still in my mail box 2 weeks later im being charged for something that the mail man or lady failed to do their job the package clearly says return to sender why is it still in my mailbox can someone explain or does the mail person does what they want ??

It should habe a trackung number. If you have the number, check on line. Or go to the PO. I'm a machine mechanic, I personally don't handle mail.

If it was delivered and you had to sign. Then it will be attempted a second time (next day). After that it will be left at the Post Office to be picked up.

I agree with the previous answer. You have 3 choices: call the post office, go into the post office or use their calculator on the USPS website.

I don't know off hand but you can try using Google search or Google Maps. This has worked for me in the past.
Usually it's next day for most locations. I suggest to go as early as possible. We are open 0830-1800 Monday to Friday and 0830-1200 on Saturdays.
