Scheduled a drives road test appointment about a month prior to July 19th. When I arrived on time to my 2:30 appointment we had sat and waited 30 minutes for my drivers license test (which is no issue). Issue is when I was called I was told that I couldn’t because of the “weather” when there was no rain the past 30 minutes and was only partly cloudy. Me and my father had convinced the lady to help us get a chance since today was the only possible day for me to get my license and I wouldn’t have anyone else take me and that it was urgent for me to get it, we were told to wait another 30 minutes…waited 50, still no rain or anything weather condition to affect someones test or safety. We were called on last time to be told the same thing and that we could come in another time, I found someone to take me but it is a hassle and I waited a month and wasted time and gas to arrive there to get nothing done. Absolutely frustrating, it could’ve been done the first call, hasn’t even rained after we left. Wish I could rate 0 stars.

3 clerks at the window in Brandon office, a 3 Taking appointments before any walking and if the appointment line is empty they take a pause if it looks like another appointment walks in the line and they take them. I'd heard the clerk tell someone that the walking were given appointments only. I did as a walking after that get my business done. No where on the paperwork that I got in the mail said appointment only. Very bad customer service but my clerk was nice

It is amazing to me that you must make an appointment, then you must wait over an hour after that appointment time. Our government is so incompetent, they cannot even do simple math to keep appointment scheduling compliant to make for efficient time spent in this place.

Rachel was excellent. It was very fast. I got there at 7:30am. Place opened at 8:00am. Finished at 8:20am. I didn't have not appointment.
Thanks! Your review is awaiting moderation.
I don't really know but I doubt if they penalize you for having multiple cars..I would say the same you paid for the first one unless it went up..
How does one get their appointment number for a driver's license renewal? I lost the sheet it was on and your system does not allow you to search.
Proof of address Birth certificate Social security card
Yup
Yes.
Its $225 for new wheel on the road fee. Plus $2 per lien. Plus registration fee is depending on the weight of the vehicle which very from 42 to 73 dollars.
There is no time in hell good luck my friend
Don't know, I had to make a appointment
I would recommend an appointment, but you can always try a late afternoon walk in. I went 45 minutes before closing and had zero wait.
This appointment only is absolutely absurd, we pay taxes for services that aren’t being delivered. Appointment times are a month out that’s supposed to be okay??! Stop using this pandemic as an excuse to screw tax payers out of services we pay for. It’s wrong.
How do you make an appointment online
The cost of registering a second vehicle varies. Please call our customer contact center at 813.635.5200 so we may be able to give you an estimate based on your specific situation. Or you may complete a customer contact form on our website at www.hillstax.org. A member of our team will reply to your inquiry.
The 25$ fee is waived, you still need: 1. A signed letter from a homeless agency with a letter head proving you're homeless. Or my access benefits card. 2. Proof of citizenship like a birth certificate or passport 3. Proof of residence. For a homeless person the best bet is like a letter from a homeless shelter 4. Proof of a social security number like a ss card or a w2 or 1099.
Bring all paperwork and I'm sure they will help you

Good question. I couldn't really find a clear answer for you on any websites. From what I did find, it may be required for you to take an exam again, but nothing explicitly said when/why that would happen. If it helps, here's a link to see if you're eligible to renew online and skip some of the hassle: https://services.flhsmv.gov/virtualoffice/Lobby.aspx If you aren't eligible, I'd say it would be a good idea to call any DMV location to get a a proper answer.
