I have two of my males their now being fixed. Waiting on the pick up call to go get them so far it's been a very good experience. And after this I have two more appts for two more of my dogs.

My family has a pittie who is dog and kid friendly. Owner was homeless and asked us to help find him a new home. He is UTD on all shots and neutered. We are looking for a rescue that can help us place him in a good home. Can you help us do that?

Does this place take in pit bulls from family's that can't keep them anymore n want a promising opportunity to find a wonderful home? Or have another great place that can help me n doesn't kill them after so many months of not getting adopted?

Hello, Jessica: The short answer to your question is no. We are a foster based group that rely of folks (volunteers) taking in dogs/cats on a temporary basis while we try to place them in a forever home. Very few rescues will take animals outright from owners and many municipal shelters are getting tougher on surrenders. That been said, we have lots of tips on our web site on how to re-home your pet(s). Thanks. Hope this information helps!

I have a pit bull lab mix female is fixed potty trained but needs to go to a home with no other pets. Please help can no longer care for cause we are loosing our home.

Hello, Vikki: Sorry to hear about your situation. Only places that will take owner surrenders are your local/city/state shelters. Very few if any rescues will take owners surrenders. May I ask reason for your surrender? How much time you have to re-home. Lots of tips on our web site. It might take some time but it will perhaps guarantee a good placement for your pet!

Last night I rescued a female pit that was dropped off in the country. She was eating out of a baby diaper. My dogs got along with her well, but she wants to get my cats. I really want her but can't risk injuring my other babies. Can anyone help?

Mary, Thank for caring about this dog. Are you in Alachua county? The shelter would take in as "stray" find. Levy, Marion, Putnam also have animal control departments. Not sure what current policies are with them. Calling to inquire is best option. I would also suggest scanning for a micro chip on the chance she has one. Your vet can do that.
