Update: after being refused treatment I was told my visit would be voided and there would be no charge. I got a bill for $176 in the mail. This business is unacceptable and unprofessional. Staff was unprofessional and care was unacceptable. Came in for a headache lasting 12 days. Was told they couldn’t treat me because I had taken Motrin earlier in the day. Was told to go to the ER if I wanted immediate treatment. Went to another urgent care and was given the same injection I was told I couldn’t receive due to the Motrin. Additionally, the PA had an attitude, and was rude.

I was seen at this urgent care two weeks ago and when i gave the receptionist my insurance she didn’t tell me that it was inactive. Didn’t mention a payment or copay or anything. I asked if they could give me a call with my copay (since i thought i still had active insurance) they said yes. Two days later 240 dollars gets pulled from my account with no call. Why ask for my insurance if you’re not going to tell me it’s inactive? i would’ve never went here if i knew how much it was without insurance.

I truly can't say enough good things about this facility! I have been to many Hospitals and Medical facilities over the past year and a half and have to say, this place topped almost every one of them..Dr.Mcarthur spent a lot of time going over my history and the staff were very caring and kind. I wouldn't hesitate one bit to refer them to anyone. I have already told family and friends what a fine group of medical people they are and if they ever need help, this is the place to go! Thanks to all of you, you are deeply appreciated. Nancy DuChene

I always use MedExpress and they always have taken good care of me. This past time I was unable to get an injection because there wasn't a nurse available. There wouldn't be a nurse available for the following few days either. I saw a PA and I always thought that a PA was able to give injections also. I was given oral antibiotics which worked. From this point on I will call before I go to see if injections are available the time. The employees were all pleasant.

Great question! Co-pays are an amount predetermined by your health plan that you pay upfront at the time of your visit. The exact co-pay amount is determined by the specifics of the insurance plan you choose and can vary by the type of healthcare provider you are seeing, such as an urgent care, PCP, or emergency room. If you’re unsure of the amount, call the 1-800 number on the back of your insurance card and the support team can walk you through the specific costs for your plan. Thanks!
