I love the Amtrak but my last experience the cafeteria was not open you could not get anything hot they did offer gift food boxes for snacks but I like a hot meal sometimes

Took my 2yr old and 5yr old for ride just for fun for there first time and an employee gave us a Amtrak bag full of goodies. It was soo nice and a great experience. Very clean and a great memory my children will never forget.

Everyone should take a train ride and travel this way. The Bakersfield train 🚆 station is great. It's safe, friendly and easy to get to. Great place to take kids on a train ride.

Very clean, no confusion, well thought out staion where buses, trains and taxis offer the traveller a way to leave town or just get around the state. Regular announcements are made when a train or bus is about to depart. Restrooms are available for passengers only. English and Spanish are used when making announcements.

Yes I do even though he is a service dog. I do that so No one can pet him. Do not get me wrong he is loveable but think about the handler he iss protecting. I travel all over the place even the buses. But go ahead and check with Amtrak. You should not have any trouble. Good Luck on your trip
