In my experience you can give a 30 day notice anytime as long as you pay for the days you stay. Example....rent is paid from the first to the first but you give a 30 day notice on the 15th. California is a shared property state which basically means that you guys share what was obtained during the marriage. If your lease is up then legally they have to give u 30 days notice. Disability doesnt change fair housing laws regarding landlord tenant do not change based on disability it only makes the landlord have to accommodate and special needs physically or mentally you need to sustain safe housing.
