I have been to this office a few times. These people are incredibly incompetent and self serving. Simple request are bothersome to these clock watchers.

Computers are really slow. This place gives me the impression that everyone who comes there are there for them. When that place is there for us. As much as I need help with finding a position in the work force. I dread coming in. I would like to say hate, but that's a strong word. The main thing is most people don't understand what they work there for. It's NOT so they can have a job. But to help us gain stable employment.

The EDD has several divisions. The only division of EDD that maintains office space here is the Tax Office. They cannot answer questions about Unemployment. It says this on their website.

No the EDD office is closed
As of right now, 10/26/20, they are unable to help with EDD. I spoke to a really kind woman who informed there are no open EDD offices at the moment.
This office is basically a resource office. The office that can help with that is downtown on D st.
