Visiting Tadich Grill since 1976, this institution hasn't changed much: unfortunatly, the bar became shorter and the Brandy Alexander doesn't exist anymore, but the very friendly service, the wide menu with excellent fish, seafood and meat is still served in best quality. An unforgettable visit for non-fast fooders; booking in advance is highly recommended!

Plenty of service at Tadich Grill. This is one of the oldest restaurants in the US. The menu is extensive. Probably a good idea to make a reservation as it is popular. Plate servings are large for some dishes and you are given crunchy bread on arrival at the table.

Open for 173 years for a reason! This restaurant came highly rated by my Croatian friends and it was a great recommendation. The restaurant feels "old school" which is awesome and a totally different atmosphere than other restaurants in the area. The food is terrific, we tried the crab cakes and the salmon based on the servers suggestions. The service is top-notch and to top things off there is still a Croatian that worked there and he stopped by our table to speak the old language a bit. I am a first generation Croatian-American and a Cali Boy so coming to the first restaurant in California opened by 3 Croatian immigrants was a perfect match. Thank you for the fantastic evening. I highly recommend this restaurant and can't wait to drop by again.

i took a friend who had never been. My first visit in a decade. Atmosphere still great. Service still classic and old fashioned and still sexist be with all-male professional waitstaff today as in the past. The food is the same. Classic, old-fashioned, a little bland. But my pork chops were perfect, the steamed vegetables fresh and al dente but plain. Ordinarily I would say it's impossible to have too much butter on or in anything, but the garlic bread was soaked in in it. Desert selection limited. Some outdoor sidewalk seating. There was no plenty of seating at the bar if you showed up without reservations, but I recommend reservations unless you're solo and like the bar. I wasn't disappointed, the quality was still high, and I'm grateful this historic SF institution has survived. Business was good, but not mobbed like the old days. Recommended. Ownership appears to still be in the Buich family.

No. Although I did see a valet parking attendant. I use public transportation from Hercules. Bus stops at Sales Force, and we walk three blocks.
I think so because people were eating in the middle of the day. We just had drinks and coffee. The staff was very nice.
Not sure, but very likely. There is a long waiting list though so get there early
You don't need a reservation.. Additionally, they only take reservations on Sundays for parties.
I'm not sure, but most high end restaurants in SF have a high corkage.
Yes
yes, but they do not always ask for it.
Embarcadero Center Garage is one block away.
Not sure! Call and ask!
Just don't miss the Petrale Sole!
Jessica Montgomery is mistaken. The restsurant will have normal business hours on the 24th, per the website. 11am to 9:30pm.
No unfortunately not
