The historic location in Shelbyville Ky was perfect and the food was excellent the watermelon salad delicious and the Hot Brown was one of the best I ever had! I will come back for sure!!

We had a hard time finding a place to park and even the front door but it was worth the effort. The building needs a little more restoration but is very interesting. The staff seemed inexperienced but friendly and anxious to please. The food was fantastic! Great experience.

Once a woman’s boarding school now a very reasonable comfortable upscale restaurant with lounge area dimming room and patio seating. Sat at the 4 seat bar enjoying the mixology at the bar. Had Pork belly Brussel sprout app, Beef Stroganoff, and Kentucky brown all very good oh and great cocktails

Ate at the Red Lion today with my college girlfriends, what a great experience it was. Beautiful setting, delicious food and amazing service, as well as a short history lesson from the owner, we’re all included. It was definitely worth the short road trip from Lexington.
