The ground of campsite T11 consists of road gravel, rocks, large tree roots from a very small shade tree and a nearly dead sycamore, no grass..there are cigarette butts everywhere and trash had been left in the fire pit. Also, a nutria's hole so large and deep that the ground is caving in. Traffic has been non-stop by visitors (noncampers and shady looking characters)coming and going and all sites are right on the road, so don't expect peace or privacy here either. Taylorsville Lake is about 20 mins away if you're looking for clean, comfortable, traditional campsites surrounded by woods, water, nature and horse trails.

This was a little hidden gem!!! Small, only 10 sites, one with full hook up, 9 with water and electric. Perfect quick stop over to wherever you’re headed! Town of Shelbyville was very nice!

Neat find. 10 sites for RV's.1 with full hookups A couple of nice trails along Clear Creek and Lake Shelby. It's a Shame many people don't practice pack in, pack out as there was trash left at many of the tent sites. Only other negative is there are too many geese. Better watch where you step..

Nice, small campground. There are only about 10 RV sites and several for tent camping. It is very quiet with beautiful surroundings. The park has a walking trail right by the water and it's beautiful. Some of the latter can get pretty far from the bathroom. The shower is pretty dated and there isn't much privacy. Unfortunately, one of our neighbors was smoking so much weed that sitting outside was almost impossible without getting nauseous. We talked to the campground host about it but nothing changed. Overall, it's a beautiful place for a quick stopover, to do some fishing or just to relax.
