My family and grandkids (ages 8, 11, and 13) enjoyed this venue and we spent the entire Sunday afternoon here. We harvested our own pumpkins and apples, ate lunch and purchased items at the store. The kids especially enjoyed the play area and the ride through the farm. Mulberry Orchard is a large working farm and is open to the public. They have a retail store selling their own farm produce and many other products. The apple cider is delicious. The farm offers a large outdoor playground with unique features, including a gigantic slide that's a new addition this year (2021). In season, they offer a variety of food and beverage choices and covered pavilions where you can enjoy a quick tasty meal. The offerings are somewhat better than you might expect. You're welcome to bring your own picnic meal too. In season, you and your family can enjoy a leisurely ride through the farm on open tractor drawn carriages through many acres of pumpkin fields and orchards. The rides stop briefly at appropriate locations for those who choose to harvest their own pumpkins and apples and repeat at 15 minute intervals, so you can spend as much time as you please in a field or orchard and catch the next ride whenever it's convenient. A few animals are on display including goats, sheep and rabbits, however his isn't really a petting zoo. Nice clean indoor restrooms are provided. Adequate free parking. Cash, debit and credit cards accepted. In season, a small entrance fee is charged for the playground and rides to the fields and orchards. One fee covers everything but the the products you harvest, which, of course you pay for whatever you pick. Buildings are handicapped accessable, however this facility is a large working farm and is not fully accessible as such. The open tractor drawn carriages are not handicapped accessable, but are enclosed by railings and and bench seats are provided. Access is via a short stair with handrails. The tractor drivers exhibit appropriate safety precautions and the leisurely rides are somewhat bumpy but reasonably comfortable. Prices are somewhat inflated but consistent with other similar venues. Hours of operation may vary seasonally. Currently, (autumn, 2021) they are open six days a week, closed Mondays. My family and I had such a good time here. The staff is friendly and they have plenty to do. We even got to do stuff with the kids. Corn Field Maze, pick our own Pumpkins and Apples just to name a few. They do grow different kinds of apples. You do pay by the lbs for Apples and Pumpkins. We enjoyed our lunch we bought here and we all thought it was really good food. The prices are very reasonable. The kids got to run and play on the different play areas they had set up for the kids. It was just a neat thing to do with my family. We will definitely be returning in the near future.

This was our first time visiting Mulberry Orchard. Finally a place that is not too busy. Great place to take your family on a hayride for pumpkin and apple picking. The hayride was free unlike other places. I'd recommend a visit.

Questions & Answers

Is it rain or shine?

We're Open Wed-Sunday, rain or shine. Hayrides to the pumpkin patch are dependent upon the weather and will not run in heavy rains or if it is too muddy to drive to the patch.

There is a shopping area that is indoors, and picnic area is covered by a pavilion. All of the activities are outdoors, though.

We will not open for the season until June when peaches are ripe so we will follow any required guidelines in place at that time. We are an open air market and our playground has tons of open space to socially distance from others. When we were open in 2020, masks weren't required when outdoors and able to socially distance. We will continue to have multiple sanitizer stations throughout the market & playground, as well as wiping down heavy touch-points regularly throughout the day. Thank you for your concern and we look forward to having you when we open for the season!

what fresh foods do you have for sale now?

We will open for the season in late June with peaches and lots of fresh vegetables along with local honey, eggs, meats and other great items.

A Fall Pass is $20 and covers your family for unlimited visits until we close in early November. If less than 4 people in your group, you may purchase a one-day Pumplin Pass for $5/person. All passes include our awesome playground, corn maze, soybean maze, and hayrides to the pumpkin patch (when available). Our full admission policy can be found on our website at MulberryOrchardKy.com
