If you go around sunset I can almost guarantee you're gonna see 3-5 deer at some point along your walk. Very nice park. But people need to keep there dogs on a leash

I love this gorgeous park! There is so much to see! It's well maintained, and full of beautiful trees. The play area is always quite clean, and the walking path is paved, wide, and even. The park also has easy accessibility to said paths. Easy transitions for those who might have a stroller or require a wheelchair/mobility scooter.

Nice playground that is well-maintained. The paved path is one of my favorites because of the wildlife diversity. I frequently see deer, many species of birds, foxes, turtles, frogs, and other creatures. However, some people need to do better about cleaning up after their dogs, and I wish people would keep their golf carts and other motorized vehicles off the trail (excluding those who use them due to disability). This became far more prevalent during the pandemic.

It's a small, nice neighborhood park. The paved walking trail is great as an inclement weather alternative. There's lots of shade and it's pretty quiet.

Questions & Answers

Is the paved path suitable for bicycle riding, and if so approximately how long is the path?

I don't cycle there, so I can't speak to suitability for cycling. However, I do see cyclers there almost every time I go. If you do both paths it's around 3.1 miles. If you go during non-peak times when the parking lots are near-empty, you can also do the loop around the parking lot, which brings it up to around 4 miles.

Do you have to call ahead to use the pavilion or can you just get there early and claim it.im wanting to use it for a birthday party and I have never done this before so I didnt know how it worked.

It falls under St. Peters Parks and Rec Dept. The number can be found on the city website, and they'll let you know if it's available and how much it costs. Depending on the time of year, you may need to book well in advance.
