Love the spot. Great views. Plenty of space for a tent and privacy from neighbors. Verizon signal strong enough for video chat. No electricity in camp or showers which is a bummer.

Very clean Campground the restrooms are unbelievably clean. The camp host for some of the nicest people I've ever met. Can't wait to come back.

Amazing. Part of me doesn’t want to review this place to keep it to myself ;) The stars at night were most epic for me and my 8yo boy on our father son trip. If I could give 4.5 stars I would because the fire pit on our campground was dug into the ground. Everyone else’s was a foot in the air.

Always enjoy our annual trip to Peak One campground. It doesn’t get any better- the views of Peak one and the surrounding mountains are just incredible, and then to add in the backdrop of Lake Dillon- seriously incredible! The sites have plentiful vegetation and pine trees, you feel right in nature for a pay to camp site. Definitely would recommend if you are considering it!

Yes the restrooms open we had two tents ... Ask the campground host
There are flush toilets and cold tap water but no showers. You can get showers at the rec center in town.
Not free. Its like 20-25 dollars.
It's been open for a couple of months now. It's been very busy this year. You will need reservations. You might get lucky with a cancellation or no show. Prospector tends to be less crowded. You could try that. Pine Cove is first come first serve but is usually full.
Yes dogs are allowed
Peak One is not full service, it's no service camping. You can get water for drinking and they have flush toilets. Not sure about RV parks in the area but I certainly would be interested.
