We are traveling to Keystone Colorado and looked for excursions. Please look at all whitewater options. A couple options include all gear needed to have a fun time. Others charge $20 + per person for needed gear. I found that the gondola in the middle of town is free. Great option to paying for sightseeing lifts.

Our first Colorado rafting experience was excellent! Our little girls ages 8,7 &3 loved it. Our guide Ken was great, very informative and made our first outing one to remember!!! Highly recommend if you have younger children.

We have some great options on the Colorado River, north of Copper Mountain. Depending on how much time you want to spend on the water, we can offer half day, full day, and multi-day rafting that is appropriate difficulty levels for the age range of your group. In addition to traditional rafts, which are going to be best for the youngest members of your group, we also have inflatable kayaks and stand up paddleboards if anyone is looking for some added excitement while still staying with the group. Please give us a call at 970-423-7031 and one of our sales team will be happy to put together a no-obligation quote for you.
Hi Jean! Thanks for reaching out. Yes, we will have both rafting and ziplining available that week. I would suggest heading to Buena Vista, just about 45 minutes from Breckenridge. Our location there has both rafting and ziplining available during that week. Here is information about our rafting trips at that location: https://www.breckenridgewhitewater.com/river-trips/arkansas-river/ The Mountaintop Ziplining tour at our Granite Outpost in Buena Vista can be packaged with those river trips! It makes for a great full day of activities, and you can even add lunch at the outpost to your package. https://www.breckenridgewhitewater.com/other-activities/colorado-zip-line-tours/ Is there anything else I can help you with? Thanks! Jocelyn Breckenridge Whitewater 877-RAFTING
Hi Steph. The Arkansas River in Buena Vista isn't the only option, but it's the option I would suggest for your group. Clear Creek in Idaho Springs will also be open. Both locations are about 45 minutes from Breckenridge. The closest option to Breckenridge is about 20 minutes away on the Blue River in Silverthorne. It's a shorter trip and fairly moderate. I would suggest the Numbers or Pine Creek section of the Arkansas River for your group. Those sections will provide the most excitement and it's a beautiful section of river.
Zulema, I would recommend our Gold Rush Clear Creek Rafting Advenutre. This trip leaves from our Idaho Springs location which Is around 45 minutes from Breckenridge. It is a class III stretch of river which is perfect for beginners! Please call or email us if you have any other questions.
Erin, We have multiple options for you and your kids. At our Granite outpost, we recommend our Browns Canyon Sizzler trip. It is a full-day rafting trip that includes a riverside lunch and class III rapids. If you are looking for a shorter trip, our Browns Canyon Half Day Trip is a great option. At our Idaho Springs outpost, I recommend our Gold Rush Clear Creek trip. This is a half day trip down a section of class III rapids. You can pair any of these rafting trips with a zipline adventure to get even more adventurous!
Hi Cathy! I'd be happy to make a recommendation. We have overnight rafting in a few locations. The trips I would suggest to you are the 24 Hours in Browns Canyon or the 3 Day Upper Colorado River. We don't have any 4 day camping and rafting trips that will be class 3, but the 24 Hours in Browns Canyon is Class 3, and the 3 Day Upper Colorado River is going to be Class 2. In terms of the sleeping, we do offer sleeping pads to increase the comfort of camping. The food on our overnight trips is always great! We pack everything in and out and our guides do the cooking. Do you have any other questions?
Hi Karen - We have many adventurous fall activities near Breckenridge. I would recommend our Via Ferrata adventure, zipline, UTV off-road rentals, or a Upper Colorado River float trip. Please give us a call at 1-877-RAFTING for more information. Thanks!
Hi Danielle, We do offer family friendly rafting for kids at young as 2 on the Upper Colorado River. However, that is location about 1 hour north of Breckenridge and 2 hours from Bailey, Colorado. We have tours in Clear Creek Canyon about 50 minutes from Bailey for ages 6+. The Arkansas River is about 1 hour from Bailey and for ages 7+. We hope you all can join us on the river soon. Thanks!
We do not know of a good place near Breckenridge for tubing, but we do offer inflatable kayaks on the Colorado River - just one hour north of Breckenridge that is a really fun adventure!
