Yes, it’s a small lounge and yes, it’s not amazing compared to other lounges in other airports. But you do realize LAX as an airport generally is not the best airport and that Terminal 6 doesn’t have a lot of comfortable places you can wait for your plane. Put it all together and it might be crowded at times but free food, free drink, charging stations and a generally clean restroom… is 150x better than being in the general areas of the terminal.

Great spot for free drinks and snacks for Star Alliance Gold Members! As a United 1k i always forget that i can check out other star lounges! This one is small and only 2 beers (stella and rotator), but charming and great polite Canadian service!

I come to this lounge often. Front desk always very helpful with getting boarding passes sorted for upgrades or delays. Bar staff very kind and during slow times will generously greet you and ask if you need a new water or beverage - very much appreciated. This place is clean top to bottom, they do a great job keeping it tidy. Big TV normally has CNN on but they're happy to put the hockey or baseball game on upon request. Top quality all around. Nice job everyone!!

This lounge is much better than some of maple leafs lounges located at air canada hub cities. There’s no much more than 8 daily air canada flights departing from LAX and first of all this lounge is very well positioned in the terminal, close to all gates and with views to the airfield. Unfortunately during COVID service is restricted and you have way less options to choose from, whatever, this isn’t a problem when your flight would be USA-CANADA.

Yes you can access it. The United lounge in LAX is far superior to the air Canada one just a heads up.
Usually then entry to the lounge is based on the connecting flight, so if your first flight is economy you can't enter a lounge (unless you have another pass) in your first airport but if your second flight is business then in the second airport you can use the lounge (usually they work this way), the lounge scans your departing ticket for access not your arriving one.
Per their website, it is closed until further notice.
On the date you're asking this question, yes. See aircanada.ca for full details.
You will have to contact your airline or your travel agent for that.
You'll have to contact lost and found, which is with baggage claim. Have your flight number and details ready and they'll do their best to reconnect you
Roughly 30$ which is a great value
