Not the worst lounge I have used but for 1st class passengers it’s not exactly ‘lux’. Food very poor, drinks free but a limited range. The outside terrace is its biggest feature and even that is marred as the view is cut in half. I suppose we are gradually getting used to the fact that we should feel privileged to travel at all and the companies think we will put up with lower standards

Great place to wait and relax before your flight. The food are okay but the selection are not much owing maybe to the pandemic thats still ongoing. Liquot choices are great and the staff corteous and polite. Ameneties are good and love the veranda like seating giving you a glimpse of the terminal below.

Excellent lounge within The Star Alliance group! Clean, spacious and with a prestigious variety of food, beverages and drink. Outstanding the open air terrace with a view over the apron and other gates. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Staffing is friendly and helpful. Selection of hot and cold food, snacks and fruits. Even though during the pandemic great variety. Love to come again.

This was by far the most disgusting airport lounge I have visited in a while. You would think with the current covid pandemic, cleanliness and hygiene would be of the utmost importance…well not here. The pictures tell 1000 words. And to top it all off, the staff at the lounge just kept on walking straight past it. Where is the leadership and care here? Absolutely disgusting.

Not only is it open, but they will soon begin expanding back to pre-covid limitations and expanding!
If you are Star Alliance Gold or above and have a flight with Star Alliance member airways; yes you can use the lounge.
Yes, you can purchase a $70 day pass if you have a ticket from a Star Alliance airline!
Sure if she is on the same flight, yes. The class does not matter.
I would still try or see if you can get a day pass, even a discounted one. I would try through Philippines customer service since you have business class they may direct you even to another lounge.
They were not when I flew out 2 weeks ago
Yup $65 USD for 3 hours
No, shower, food and beverages only
Yes it is up on the 4 or 5 the level, right outside the elevator..
Unfortunately, no. It requires an onward boarding pass to enter the lounge.
This lounge is only for Star Alliance airlines. Not sure where the Air Italy lounge is.
It's for all * gold members no matter which airlines frequent flyer program you enrolled. If your membership tier reaches *gold, just go in and enjoy! I'm a Asiana Club diamond plus member (equals to * gold) and have been to the lounge few times with absolute no problems. At the counter there are even staff wearing EVA AIR, Asiana Airlines, United Airlines uniforms.
No guest as you are the ticket holder ... Only ticket holders or if you have a membership ..
Yes
Star Alliance Lounge at LAX TBIT opens at 5:30am
No, this lounge is for international flights - it's inside the Tom Bradley terminal. United flights from LAX to EWR will be out of terminal 7.
Unfortunately not unless you fly business
Access to the LAX Star Alliance Lounge is accepted if you have the following: 1. Star Alliance Gold Status 2. Business Class Ticket 3. First Class Ticket 4. Upgrade to Business or First Class Please note lounge access is only for Star Alliance Memeber Airlines Only. I fly frequently from LAX on Star Alliance Airline memebers to international destinations. I visit the lounge everytime and consider it one of the best Star Alliance lounges in their system. Hope this was helpful, cheers.
No, American Express Gold Card is Not accepted. For access, you must Star Alliance Status of Gold or higher and travelling on a Star Alliance partner Airline. First class and business class travellers may also access the lounge if they are flying on a Star alliance flight, even if they don't have any status with the airline.
No it is not. Unless you're flying first or business class on a Star Alliance airline.
As far as I know your ticket, business or first class only, is your pass. I understand that they used to sell passes but that was years ago and discontinued the program in favor of the frequent flier points system and the ticket class system.
You invite her as your guest
It's in terminal B but you can walk there easily from terminal 4. You do need to have star alliance gold membership though. I believe that some carriers use this lounge as their first class lounge as well so perhaps you might be able to use it with a first class ticket.
Yes you can pay for a day pass
$65 USD for 3-4 hours
You should be able to pay for access to the lounge. You can get in free if you have a Star Alliance Silver card or better, or a business/first class ticket.
No. Star Alliance Gold on international tickets and Star Alliance Business and First have access.
If you have Silver status with Eva with Premium Economy ticket, Yes
You need to have an International First or Business class ticket for entrance.
Can I purchase a day pass for this Star Alliance Lounge for my wife and I? If so, can I also use this day pass at my next layover in Hong Kong?
Is within the international terminal (Tom Bradley) accesed through the elevators after TSA on the 6th floor. It's accessible for business class passengers of Star Alliance boarding pass holders.
