I have been buying Red Wing boots for over 20 years. I loved their customer service and their boots, but the customer service aspect had seemed to be falling off over the last 10 years or so and I had been using different brands. My trip to the Emeryville store and my experience with Patrick today restored my faith in Red Wing. Patrick was amazing. He measured both my feet - something that a salesman at Red Wing has not done for me since 1990-something. He then helped me find the right boot with the right fit and a pair of insoles that made the boots feel like walking on a cloud. Patrick was very knowledgeable about his product and wanted to sell me a pair of boots I would be happy with. Not the typical attitude these days, where people don’t really care if you like your boots, as long as you buy them. I left the store very happy with my new boots and looking forward to stomping around the job site with them Monday. 5 stars to Patrick and Red Wing, I’m now back as a faithful Red Wing customer

Showed up at 15 minutes till 6 on Saturday, lazy girl working there had the doors locked already. Knocked on the door and she looked at me as i told her i knew what i wanted and would be done before the time they were actually supposed to close, then she just shrugged her shoulders at me
