I love going to The Marina to Bird Watch and Fish, The views are wonderful, but I will have to say, The young lady that works in The bait shop did not make me feel welcome, but other than that, My experiences have been positive!

Beautiful scenic bay marina.Parking ,food and boat docks.Great place to picnic or catch a charter fishing trip early in the morning.Local pier to fish off.Barbecue areas and nice grassy areas, walkways. restrooms and plenty of restaurants near by.Great place to observe the majestic skyline of San Francisco Bay and buildings.Full marina with fuel station and launching area.

No but either North or South you'll have luck
There is a marina along with restaurants. If i remember there are no gates along the way but you do need to pay for parking . Most places are dusk to dawn however if your traveling and look like a traveler the authorities will leave you alone . The view of the city is spectacular from this point

No. Sorry. There is very little room and it closes at ten pm.
The whole Emeryville peninsula is closed to autos on 4th of July. Walk out into the middle of the Bay with the whole community. Great 3 way view of Frisco, Oakland and Berkeley fireworks.... family friendly event!
