I wished I would have seen the reviews before bringing my otherwise healthy 38 year old husband to this hospital. I brought him in when he sudden fell greatly ill. The first nurse we encountered seemed genuinely concerned with his health. One look at him and she knew it was bad. But after that, for the rest of the staff, it was just another day at the office and another sick person in their way. My husband was hospitalized there for 13 days. When I would try to get updates about his health, none of the nurses knew anything. I would go visit him every day and every time I would find him with his gown and sheets dirty. I had to ask the nurses every day to change him! Actually, Many times I had to change his sheets and gowns myself. He even fell, face first, trying to go to the bathroom. Because of course they didn’t provide anything for him to urinate in. He was so weak that he fell and gashed his forehead. When that happened they called me only asking me irrelevant questions never mentioning his fall. He would also say that every time the nurses had to tend to him they would get upset at him. He passed away in that horrific hospital. And to pour salt on my wounds, this hospital doesn’t even have a morgue. They were constantly calling me the very day he passed telling me I had to pay a morgue to pick up his remains. I have never dealt with anything like this and didn’t have a clue or money to spare for a morgue. As morgues can be very pricy. Now as I sit here sobbing for my loss I can’t help but think that they didn’t give him the medical urgency his deteriorating health desperately needed. They took too long to do test and even longer to get test results back. He died of sepsis, which, makes it seem that they weren’t even giving him the right treatments. They didn’t even try to save his life. Just waited for him to die. Whatever the situation might have been, as a nurse or a doctor, if your priority isn’t your patients then you are in the wrong profession! You should quit immediately and stop endangering the lives of innocent sick, and needy people for a paycheck. Rest In Peace, my love. I hope now you are in a better place away from the cruel and careless people in this world.

Got my first surgery and was cared for really well. My nurses were really kind and caring towards me and my pain. Surgery went well and went home feeling great I appreciate my surgeon and nurse who cared for me :D

If you care for your family, do not take them to this house of horrors hospital. My elderly father was taken there by ambulance because he contracted Covid. He as released still having pneumonia. Staff is inadequate. It’s like pulling teeth when you call to get an update. This place needs to be shut down!

Ok .but the Ortho referrals FROM : Coast Plaza Hospital Dr. RETIRED 2 YEARS AGO !!! I was there picking up a CD with my Mom yesterday, & receptionist told us someone was going to take a complaint ,1/2 hr. later NO ONE! WE HAD OTHER THINGS TO DO So we left, receptionist ASSURED US someone would call re: filing a complaint NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO CALL!! Who is IN CHARGE OF UPDATING THE REFERRALS? Referral Dr. RETIRED 2 YEARS AGO!!! HELLO?? SOMEONE IS NOT FOING THEIR JOB!!
I don't know.I've been admitted here 2x and had very good care here.nurse Clare and Jocelyn are great with there patients.
