Ordered doors. They took my money and then ghosted me. Not even sure they're still in business. Wish I could give them zero stars. EDIT: Eventually they came through. Still, if you don't like heartburn, stay away. I called the manufacturer (Speciality DH is just a retail operation) and they said you can trust 'First Choice Accordion Doors' at accordion-door.com' (singular!) instead.

I needed some kind of curved, removable partition to separate a rental unit from the rest of my home. I ordered a Woodfold accordion door through Specialty Doors Online. I was concerned about getting the dimensions just right because it had to fit seemlessly in an existing finished space with a very tight tolerance. Also, I live in Hawaii, so I really wanted to avoid return shipping of an improperly-sized door. Eve at Specialty Doors helped me through my order, including helping me coordinate special shipping to Hawaii. The folks at Woodfold produced an excellent door and delivered it on time impressively well-packaged for overseas shipping. It fits the space perfectly and it came with thorough, readable installation instructions. It looks great and operates beautifully. I can't imagine a better solution to partition my space.

Part of my business is installing doors and after ordering tracks from Barn Door Hardware, I don’t like using any other brand. My clients love the looks of them and their quality. I even use them for my own personal use.

I was so happy with the selection of finishes offered by Barn Door Hardware. Their bronze gate hardware added amazing detail to the front of our home, and since our home is older, it fits in with the style beautifully. The quality is the best and we’re so glad we went with them for our home hardware needs.

It really depends on which track they use. If it’s flat track the dimension from the bottom of the track to the top of the door is between ½” to 1”. Most flat track we use is 2’ high so the wood 2x6 is usually mounted at the opening height or 1” above. Box track and round track are usually 2” above the opening. Different tracks have different bracket locations but generally speaking if they put a 2x6 inside the wall just above the opening , they are covered structurally.
