This place is useless and purposely treats veterans like trash. Their automated phone service is designed to refer you to your own computer or call a different number. I would give this place zero stars if I could. This office needs to be thoroughly investigated promptly.

Trash office. An entire month has passed since I’ve received any type of correspondence from my “counselor”. As a result I’ve missed the semester and of course, funding. This is disgusting and disrespectful.

Worst VA Ever!!! I am still trying to get my Rep to approve my plan. she does not return calls and she is very lazy she does not explain the process very well. She hung up on me because I said she does a very poor job as my REP

"Arthur" was very professional, patient and kind. Didn't seem phased at all that I didn't know how to request VA documentation at all. He assured me that I would receive the data in ten working days. All taken care of by phone, in 6+ minutes. EXCELLENT!

Hello try going to the business office at West Los Angeles VA Medical Center Bldg 500 first floor
yes they have navigated
Hi Art Caballero, for eBenefits Questions and Technical Issues, go to our site to obtain contact number at ebenefits.va.gov/ebenefits/contact
Yes, you can walk in and speak to the front desk to meet with a representative. They would be more than willing to give you a copy of your DD214. If you have a representative (POA) they can also print one for you. Tri Ly if you have any other questions feel free to reach out to me. This is assuming you have filed for benefits before. If not try this: To obtain a copy of your DD214 ( separation documents) you can goggle Form SF 180 ( standard form 180 for requesting military records) complete and mail to NARA, 1 Archives Dr. St. Louis, MO 63138 Or write to: NARA at the address above. Make sure document is signed if not signed it will be delayed.
Hi David, for veterans pension eligibility and methods to apply, visit our site at benefits.va.gov/pension
Yes you can visit but the VA hospital provides the ID, the RO doesn't provide ID
Yes. You have to go to the 2nd floor and speak to the Veteran Service Organization [VSO]
Go to the regional office. Get in the VA line on the right side of the building. Go to the second floor public contact dept. Check in. Ask for help filing a claim. You should bring a DD214 and a copy of your medical records if you have one. Or any other medical evidence. Such as current diagnoses.
Yes its quick and easy, just bring a state ID and your DD214
Need to go to the VA hospital. Down the street from the regional office.
Go here https://www.va.gov/records/get-veteran-idcards/vic/
Go to this website which has information pertaining to your question. Https://mobile.va.gov/content/how-obtain-ebenefits-premium-account-ds-logon
I'm not aware of a Regional office in that area. Are you looking for a American Legion, AMVETS, Disabled American Veterans office in your area?
Hi i went to the federal Building in 11000 Wilshire Blvd.and i think the VA need to be more organized . if you live in los Angeles CA they can help you... But you need to take records off you.. My situation is different my housband Die las year i found him Death in my house hi have a seizure and falls down and Die... Hi pay for the life insurance and full amount now they don't want to give that money or his pension. I found the records and the papers the hi pay for all Benefits and life insurance and they dont want to give me the money i hope you can get the papers you need good luck
You want the second floor...it's the public contact section.
They take walk-ins. It's best to get there early as each appointment is unique for each veteran.
Parking is free and wait times vary depending on your situation. Either way plan on at least two hours to take your time on submitting your claim.
Walk in basics is welcomed. However patience will be of a virtual.
I'm sorry the information we provided was not what you expected. If you have a POA my suggestion is to make an appointment and express your concerns. Hopefully they can guide you in the right direction.
Robin, I understand your concern as with all veterans who are confused with VA math and how they apply it to disability rating. I have provided a good site that goes into detail on this subject that I find might help you understand it a bit better. https://themilitarywallet.com/va-math-combined-disability-ratings/ I hope you find that site helpful
When you get to LA depending on what VAMC is closer whether it's Long Beach VA, Loma Linda VA or Los Angeles you need to go to the Business office and let them know you will want to get your care there. I work for the Los Angeles Regional office Benefits section located here in Los Angeles. Any other questions feel free to ask. Either claim related or just a question in general I'll do my best to guide you in the right direction. From one vet to another. Go Army!!!
Hi Peter McDonald, VA will provide hearing aids and eyeglasses to eligible Veterans. Go to our website to find out if you are eligible and how to apply. (look under Prosthetic and Sensory Aids): va.gov/opa/publications/benefits_book/benefits_chap01.asp
Hi Andrew Ellis, you will need to apply to the review board for your respective service branch for corrections or changes. Instructions on what to submit for each are listed on this site archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/correct-service-records.html
