Best food of any lounge I've ever been to and I've been to a lot. When flying internationally through LAX I actually deliberately catch an earlier commuter flight from San Diego to spend some quality time at the lounge and board the flight relaxed, well fed and freshly showered, ready to take on an 11 hour stint across the pond. It's not as extravagant as the Qatar Airlines first class lounge in Doha but it's classy without trying to be pretentious. Love it!

Excellent lounge serving quality cooked to order food! Its always my favourite lounge and really enjoy staying here before the long haul flight, such a great refreshment. The shower facility is clean and simple. I also like the lounge not very crowded. Great lounge!

Great spacious lounge - was on jal flight so came here before lunch and had the avocado and pouched eggs which was absolutely fantastic. They also have an extensive drink mix with decent champagnes (when I came they had 3) Didn't give it 5 stars just due to service, the people here really didn't try and felt as if it was a chore. Drinks were slow, they were grumpy etc.. Anyway it's a free lounge so can't complain too much.

Probably the best lounge in the US although falls short of the first lounge in Sydney (or other world leading lounges eg, CX HKG first lounge). Restaurant is good but not amazing. Good selection of wines. Lots of space for work and relaxation but can get slightly crowded at peak times. The major downside to this lounge is location... Tucked away in a corner means the lack of a tarmac view or even a good view of the terminal. Nonetheless it deserves 5 stars for raising the bar for American lounges!

Only international first class or emerald on an international itinerary.
Skeptical that you could buy one at the airport. I've never seen anyplace.
For Qantas first, will need to have first class ticket or One World Emerald status to use this lounge.
You'll have access in LA as long as you are Emerald or the corresponding Quantas level.
You can not buy a one day pass to the lounge. You can have access if you are a non AA oneworld emerald on any flight. AA emeralds only get access flying overseas and MEX airport. You can also buy a first class ticket on any oneworld airline but the flight must be overseas.
No, this lounge is by invite only
If you are flying international first, there is no fee.
No, not unless you have Sapphire status.
