You can not buy a one day pass to the lounge. You can have access if you are a non AA oneworld emerald on any flight. AA emeralds only get access flying overseas and MEX airport. You can also buy a first class ticket on any oneworld airline but the flight must be overseas.
Hi Kim, you have to flying First Class on Qantas or one of their partners to access this lounge. We flew Cathay Pacific first to HKG and we're granted access. I don't think they sell access to the first lounge. There's a wonderful star alliance lounge in this terminal that accepts priority pass as an alternative option. Happy flying. :-)
Access is generally available for first class passengers on Qantas and partner (OneWorld) airlines. I don't know whether you can buy day passes.
