A friend and I had lunch here during the week and were pleased with our experience. We had the chicken mole nachos and the fish and chips. Both were quite tasty and filled us up. I will definitely be back

So great finding this place! I live nearby but just found this place yesterday and it was such a great surprise. My cocktail was delicious (gold rush) and we ordered food not expecting much. As it turns out my boyfriend's burger was amazing and my mac and cheese was the best I've ever had. Staff was very efficient as well, I don't know the guy's name but he was alone there and took care of everyone very nicely. I will definitely come back. ❤️

Ray was our bartender/server Monday night, we really enjoyed our food and drinks. So, we decided to come back with friends the Tuesday evening. Tony was super nice too! even the crowd and he was alone! Thank you for your good vibes and the food was delicious, the burger, the fish and chips, the crispy chicken and quesadillas, everything was fresh and very good. We were visiting for 2 days but we are going to come back for sure next time in San Fransisco!

Strong character, strong selection. The kind of bar restaurant you’d only find in San Francisco. Ample outdoor seating. Its location lends well to taking a stroll outside to the other sights and sounds of the FiDi, North Beach, the Embarcadero.

Food and drink about 25 to 30.

The Old Ship Saloon is built from a ship that had been dragged ashore. From the front I see no ship. Where is it??

Hi Scott, the Ship — it was called The Arkansas— only lasted a few years as a Ship converted into a Saloon before it was stripped and sold for salvage. Since then two brick building have been built on the same location. The haul of the Arkansas is still down there. It was recently uncovered when the new condo building was constructed two years ago. Thanks for your interest.

Yea, no entry fee or something like that. I think the food is average price - expect a range from $15-25 - it's a nice place with tasty food (I got the mushroom burger) the drink I got was really great - it was the perseco punch :) Hope you will enjoy too :)
