Dr Vargas is a patients dream Dr. Never rushes you. Is extremely knowledgeable. Excellent diabetic teaching worked with me to lose. Over 50 lbs. Always happy gives encouragement. I travel over 90 miles one way to keep him as my primary Physician.

I have been under the care of Dr .Vargas and staff coming up on 10 Yrs and could not be more pleased With his guidance and the service the office provides. My appointments are always on time And I never feel rushed. I especially Like when Dr Vargas walks me out. In my lifetime of seeing doctors, I Never had that experience. In Dr's Vargas's office, he takes the time to be personable as well as professional. He shows me visual Representations of heath issues l am living with and this detail contributes to my long term health I also heard that other Doctors at Jenn care are the best in New Orleans. I would give this place zero stars if I could. My time is not respected and I have never spent less than 2.5 hours when accompanying my elderly father here. They won’t refer him to a neurologist for his Alzheimer’s/dementia, and refuse to use certain pharmacies. Forms cannot be emailed to the practice (must be brought in at a visit), and only after physically demonstrating how my father can barely walk would the doctor assist in tell my father he cannot drive. The doctor is compassionate, but is limited by JenCare in ways that do not allow for beneficial patient care. Just awful. They also do not access the previous physician notes, so medical history is incomplete. His doctor of 30 years sold his practice to JenCare and all of those notes have disappeared. No historical knowledge at all.
