A well organised environment readying passengers on to the ferry to Alcatraz Island. Staff were friendly and helpful. Restrooms were ok. Get there at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.

We took the Alcatraz Cruises ferry from this pier! Clean and nicely maintained pier. Excellent cruise and tour of Alcatraz!

Awesome. I think we got lucky due to airshow going on at the same time.. The buildings and tour were awesome. Great pictures opportunities with he golden gate Bridge views of the city and just non stop sites.

There is public transportation that will take anybody quickly and easily to Pier 33 in San Francisco, which wants to take the ferry to Alcatraz. Parking is available with some running time, but that makes no sense, because the parking is there fire and limited in time.
We took public transportation and it dropped us off right in front of the Pier. We then took Lyft back to the hotel.
