Update: Google response received prior to receiving any email responses related to the well-reported Hines flood (I’ve reached out and attempted contact on a daily basis). Please respond to my emails regarding access to our personal belongings. I’d love to give even an “average” 3-star review, if not a 4 or 5. A helpful response would be a step in a different direction. Right now a 1-star is a highly accurate reflection of reality.

I booked through Blueground and stayed here for about 3 month. IF YOU'RE STAYING HERE FOR A SHORT PERIOD, THIS IS A NICE PLACE. 1. Good part is that the building and room were clean and other tenants were mostly nice, and everything was within a 5-min walking distance. 35th floor is really wonderful and you can see a full 360 view of SF. Some say it's hard to get their deposits back but me and my friends who stayed in other rooms had no problems with that. If you can keep your place clean, then there should be no worries. 2. However, at all times, at least 1 out of 3 of the elevators will not work and going into the parking lot takes time (look at google street view and you'll see why). I recommend this place if you don't have a car, and stay in a room below 10th floor so that you could walk up the stairs just in case. The management is fast, but only if they can handle the issue by themselves. If took them 3 weeks to fix the air conditioner which they had to call for someone outside.

It would be great if we could get periodic scheduled updates from management, since many of us are unsure where we can stay, when we can get our stuff back (the only times they have opening are during work hours), and what assistance we can receive. Considering that this is supposedly a luxury apartment, the standard of care that one would expect building management to exercise is sadly lacking.

The way they are handling the flooding situation is horrible. Don’t live here because if there is an emergency you won’t be compensated. Moved residents to the Tenderloin which is not a safe area and also cheaper than what rent is. Cant even work because the apartment won’t let us get our electronics or clothes or any bare necessities back. The lack of communication extremely frustrating and severely interfering work. There’s also no talk of compensation as residents had to repurchase EVERYTHING because they wouldn’t let us go back to the apartment. Where is the talk of compensation???
