I wanted to share my experience with West Village since living here over the past year. Since new management (Bell Partners) has taken over, living at West Village has been great! Bell Partners have been quick to make improvements to West Village, such as gym renovations, a new package delivery system, all on top of having an amazing office and maintenance staff. As for West Village itself, there is no better place for living in downtown Durham if you are looking to live in a special location with historical significance. The amenities such as the pools, parking garage, dog parks, and built in bars and restaurants are all excellent perks. The location is also fantastic, being in a safe part of Durham that is in close proximity to downtown, east 9th street/Duke, and central park.

I have been living at west village for two years and I have to say the new management is so much better! I had a bunch of service requests that never were fixed. The new management has taken care of all of them since they started. The maintenace guy Reggie was super nice and went above and beyond to help me out. Always have loved my apartment and the location but now it’s even better here! Highly recommend west village to anyone looking for an apartment in downtown Durham!

I can't say enough great things about my experience with West Village! First off, the apartments are truly incredible -- exposed brick, wood beams, and high ceilings. I loved the fact that every unit I saw both felt like a modern apartment while integrating the unique features of the historic warehouse. In addition, the property management team was amazing. I had the pleasure of working with Travis who not only did a great job in making me feel welcome and answering all of my questions, but also was incredibly generous with his time -- he showed me 5 different units, each of which was unique in some cool way! While I know the management team is relatively new to the property, you can tell they are very passionate about ensuring the best experiences for their residents.

The change of management in West Village has been SENSATIONAL! My husband and I cannot stop raving about the hospitality, care, and attention given by the new team. Travis and Stephanie helped us with our lease transfer, and quickly helped us find a bigger apartment that we LOVED! It was painless and fun the whole way through. Travis’s sense of humor and warmth are unmatched - the team makes living here such a treat! Come for the exposed brick apartments, stay for the leasing office staff :-)
