The atmosphere was great! We tried a couple of different beers which we enjoyed while watching a basketball game. We snacked on the cauliflower bites and fries which were both tasty and then we ordered mains. I had the Vegan Burger and was unimpressed, the main flavor was salt. The texture of the burger is more geared to someone who likes a meaty texture burger, but it still needs more flavor (some garlic or something similar would help). All in all, would recommend for drinks/atmosphere but maybe get dinner elsewhere.

Food, service and not to mention the beer was fantastic! Our waitress was vert attentive and took care of everything thoroughly. I recommend the Octoberfest and Caribbean Kolsch brews. Very warm, inviting atmosphere, with friendly folks situated in the tobacco district of Downtown Durham.

Go here. Just do. You will not regret it. In fact, if you don't go here you will finish living with the knowledge that you passed on an EXCELLENT experience and potentially the best upscale burger and beer of your life. Was passing through on a road trip with my boyfriend and stopped here for dinner - we each got a beer flight and shared the stuffed mushrooms and BBQ pork belly burger. Not only were the stuffed mushrooms absolutely worth driving 7 hours roundtrip to come back again next weekend (let me tell you, we are TEMPTED), but the staff even so kindly brought the burger out already split and separately plated with generous portions of fries and dipping sauces for each of us. The burger completely blew our minds. I know I sound like a raving lunatic at this point, but I have zero negative things to say about this charming spot with the food worth driving for. There is plenty of variety on the beer menu, and each one was totally unique and a flavor adventure for sure. We loved them, but got a full Mango Weiss and Edward Teach Teaches Peaches (so good!). The outdoor seating was well arranged and peaceful, as well as child and pet friendly. The atmosphere was cheerful and the service was incredibly prompt without hovering. Elizabeth (I'm pretty sure!) helped us tonight and was amazing - we never had an empty water glass or waited for anything but did not feel overwhelmed either. Every staff member was friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be : please open a location closer to the coast!
