Best doughnuts EVER. Its nice to find a shop that still serves classic doughnuts. The fires are so great for the quantity of the food. Bring cash! There is an atm. Make it your next stop when you pass by Escondido!
J Bomb u dont want Me 2 go off on U
Their cake style donuts are incredible! The crullers were the most light and airy I have ever had. I'll be back, for sure.

What an experience! Such a neat place and superb donuts. They are a cake like style which gives them the old fashioned taste. Peterson's is usually on the short list of the best donuts in southern California for a reason. So its worth a visit. They are open 24 hours too!

They are hands down the best in San Diego County. I have tried them all, and i won't say any names. We have good number of donut spots with good donuts. This is BEST of the BEST. They should be open 7 days a week and 24 hrs. OMG. Two THUMBS UP. ππ

A simple circle cake donut with sprinkles is $1.25. It depends on what you buy as to your price.
The best time to get your donuts at Petersons is 4:30 am. This is when they put out a whole bunch that just got made.
Huge glazed donut great for parties, birthdays or just a donut challenge. Almost the size of a VW tire
I'm not 100% sure Peterson's sells macarons. I can tell u that they do serve coconut macaroons. A typical macaroon consists of: Coconut, Egg Whites, Almond or vanilla extract, and sometimes condensed milk. A typical macaroon consists of: Cream, Egg Whites, sugar, and almond flour...
5/22 still open and busy as usual!! Appears the new owners are really trying to preserve the original PETERSON'S Donuts!!
I didn't notice anything, but I wasn't specifically looking either. I would call to confirm.
The covid practices are intense they are really trying sanitizing the counter between each person and have plastic up no sitting and walk up and leave type of order but it is super bomb so go here fresh doughnuts are the best
No
Yes, there is a service fee though. So you're better off with cash.
Great question, but they don't really compare. Though they both make a similar product, Peterson's has primarily a traditional product; Devil's are modern. I had them on consecutive days and thought both were fine, but not great. Also, they're nowhere near each other.
