I'm a little upset. I worked with the representative at the Custom Framing area. I was very specific about what I wanted and she seemed very clear about what I wanted. But some of the matte colors in my final product were wrong and one matte color was not included at all. I think it will still work in the space and honestly it took almost 3 weeks to have this finished so I'm just moving on ....but here's the lesson. You double check the names and serial numbers of the mattes you are using for the custom frame; write them down yourself. Do not trust the representative and double check that those same names are itemized on the invoice. The staff is great, although the representative that helped me when I picked it up and heard that it was wrong didn't apologize and just said that these are the names that are on the invoice and that's what we did. That is the case and I was very cordial and did not throw a hissy fit or anything. It just would have been nice to have her say I'm sorry. I'm not sure where it went weird but ultimately the lesson is "double check or take photographs of the names yourself to ensure that you're clear about the items you chose, and insure those same names and serial numbers are on your invoice before leaving.

worst experience ever at a retail store. I understand you’re about to close in 10mins but it was 8:50 and the older male employee stood there and told me I had to stop looking and go to the front. He literally stood there and stared me down until I felt uncomfortable. Horrible experience

I came in today and was helped by Alan in the custom framing department. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He really knows his stuff, and went above and beyond by helping me with everything I needed and even suggesting things I hadn't considered and didn't realize were options. Fantastic customer service, and I'll definitely be back for all my framing needs. Thanks again Alan!

What makes this Michael’s location in Los Angeles the best? The amazing staff! I ordered large picture frames from their website and my order was ready within a day. This location has ample parking, you can park outdoors or in their garage, which is free. The store is upstairs, you can take the escalators. The employees quickly brought me the frames I ordered and one employee was kind enough to offer and help me carry the heavy frames to my car. It’s rare to get such great customer service, and even though there are a few Michael’s stores in LA, I’ll be coming back to this one!
