Ken helped us buy our new home in Los Angeles. He followed through each and every step of the home buying process with multiple CAR forms. Even when the sellers slacked, Ken never lost the momentum to chase the different steps and we closed the escrow on time. No details were missed out. He also helped us rent our old home in record short time at market rent. He is very transparent and thorough. For any real-estate needs, Ken is our go-to realtor!

Ken was a great realtor for us. We were purchasing our home from out of state, so we relied on Ken for a lot more than we expected to. In all cases Ken was happy to help us out and responded promptly to everything that we asked. He would take the time to explain some of the more obscure parts of home buying to us and repeat it until we felt like we understood. Ken would also tour homes for us and create a virtual tour or faceTime with us when we couldn't be there in person to view a house. He provided a wealth of knowledge about the various areas that we were interested in as well as resources that we could use to help us hone in on the right neighborhoods. We were very pleased with Ken in all aspects of the process and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a house.

Ken was our realtor for our first home. He’s a great guy and really helped us understand the LA real estate market. He’s also super knowledgeable about the financing market. We spent a long time viewing more than a handful of homes to find the perfect fit and he was very patient with us along the way. Highly recommend!

Questions & Answers

How many houses should you look at before buying one?

There's no set formula for this. Sometimes buyers buy the first home they see. (And they always ask, "Should I buy this... It's the first house I've seen." Sometimes it's the tenth house; Even the twentieth. It's the first, though, more than it's the twentieth. You'll know if when you see it, that's for sure! When it's the right one, it works out and unfortunately you might have your heart broken a time or two. Keep going!

Studio City is a neighborhood within the city of Los Angeles (it is not an actual city, itself) comprised mostly of the 91604 postal code. Parts of the 91602 and the 91607 postal codes are also considered to be part of the Studio City neighborhood.

Is dollar per square foot a good way to calculate home value?

Dollar per square foot is generally deemed to be one of the simplest ways to calculate home value. Zillow's valuation models seem to depend heavily on a dollar per square foot calculation. The problem is that it's not typically a very accurate method of arriving at a value for any given home unless the home is located within a tract of very similar cookie cutter homes. Dollar per square foot does not account for lot size or condition of the home or really anything other than the size of the square footage of the structure that's there (regardless of quality of construction). The best way to value any particular home is to have an agent complete a CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) or a BPO (Broker Price Opinion).
