I had a good overall experience. The Giving Tree helped me get sober and showed me how to stay sober for the future. The Giving Tree did this by teaching me how to control my emotions in a positive way in order to prevent a relapse. The staff was really nice and was more then willing to work with me in my recovery, which showed me that they cared about me. I liked what this facility had to offer compared to my last treatment facility.

The staff is decent but the owner is completely unethical and cheap, she provides the bare necessities for food, including cups of noodles and hot pockets. My money went missing out of the safe and they said that the consent said I was held liable when that was not the case. The consent said that I’m liable for anything in my possession. When I called the owner (Sabrina) she blocked my number, not willing to help me with anything. Again I was in detox so I’m not wealthy by any means and she had no sympathy for anything that happened in the situation. There is so many other options in California that are willing to help and actually care for you and don’t treat you just like a paycheck.

The Giving Tree has saved my life and helped get my family back. I came from San Diego nervous and afraid. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with compassion, nonjudgment and they made me feel so very comfortable. During my stay at this beautiful boutique like treatment center, which is actually felt like home. The amazing staff (each and everyone of them) took care of me in caring matter helped me get myself back. I highly recommend them!
