No help here. They very much stress the fact that they are VOLUNTEER based. If this is such a hinderence to helping people, why not work on getting more volunteers? Start a fund raiser?.. If you would just rather not be bothered with helping people, then please for the sake of posterity, shut this organization down or revamp entirely. I've also noticed they tend not to address unfavorable critiques. It's sad organizations like this claim they promote access to justice, then do so little to actually make a difference where it is needed the most.

They tell you to call CLEAR. I've been calling CLEAR every minute since 9:15 am until they closed at 12:15 pm. CLEAR would not take anymore calls regarding family law matters. Not sure how I'm supposed to get help regarding family law matters if CLEAR isn't taking any calls regarding family law matters and Thurston County Volunteer Legal Services won't even talk to you until you have spoken with CLEAR who isn't taking any phone calls. Waste of time.

We can sometimes help people who live out of state, if the case is filed in Thurston or one of the other counties we serve. You can call our office for more information and to see if you'd be able to receive help from TCVLS!

Do they help get papers you need? And help you fill them out? Custody papers

Mediators cannot promise any results. The decision to agree belongs to the parties only. Contact a housing coalition and ask for info about rights and services
