Nice, quiet place to come and relax by the water. Picnic, fish, read, etc. Small town charm with amazing views. You won't meet nicer people.

Nice little park in Oriental, NC. Great spot to just sit and gaze apon the gorgeous water, practice Yoga, picnic, etc. Has wooden, reclining chairs that are free and available to the public.

For a free neighborhood/community park, this little spot is great. There are a number of picnic tables and Adirondack chairs provided. There is also a small pier. Great place to sit and watch the world go by and maybe enjoy a picnic while you listen to the water lap at the edge of the park wall below. I'd come back to this place in a heartbeat the next time I was in the area!

Maybe. There are a lot of large rocks right beside the waterfront though that would make it unpleasant. There are definitely better places around Oriental to launch a kayak.
