Highly recommended. We're closing on our house and it hit a snafu. Long story short here we were with 2 fully packed cars, a dog and a cat. There's no way we're going back home with a 2. 5 hr drive. River neuse suites came to the rescue. Even allowed us to do really late checkout till we get our house keys. Super fabulous managers, very clean rooms and what a view to beat.

Had always been curious about visiting Oriental. So happy I chose to stay at River Neuse Suites! The water views and breezes are calm and relaxing. Pull up a chair on the front lawn or walk across the street to the park or pier. These suites are very clean and welcoming. Staff is super helpful, especially Lucky! If you're looking for a slow-paced, charming retreat, this is your place!

Excellent experience! Made reservations online, room was ready and waiting for us when we arrived. Room was clean, cool (a/c was on) and comfortable. Love the kitchenette, so nice to have a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave! Bed was super comfortable. Wonderful views right from the room. Bikes available to guests for free. We will absolutely be back soon! Update 6/2018 - This continues to be one of our favorite places to stay. We come here a few times a year and the people and accomodations are always superb. 10 stars!
