Our vet was packed and couldn’t see us for a week plus. There best suggestion was referring us to an emergency vet. We called heart of Brooklyn and they got us a spot the next day. Everyone was so nice and organized. We are super grateful and will be changing vets to Heart oF Brooklyn ❤️

Took our dog to Dr. Koos today. I really appreciated his (and his staff’s) bedside manner. He was also thorough and thoughtful in his advice.

I recently brought my new puppy, Chickpea, to Heart of Brooklyn Fort Greene and I was so impressed with the care and kindness of the staff and doctors. As a new puppy owner, there is a lot I don't know, and the doctor stayed to answer my questions so thoroughly and with so much patience and understanding. I am so relieved my puppy is in the best hands here!

Two times my dog needed attention for an acute problem. Both times HOB was the only place that got me in to see the vet almost immediately. The staff is friendly as well as the vets. I don't have insurance so the costs escalate quickly but they are willing to talk about what needs to be done. I never feel like I 'have' to get all the tests, it's up to me (with their advice). The DR who helped me also has been very good about follow up emails. I forgot a question while I was there and she has been very thorough in answering it in multiple responses. Thank you

Good morning, Pet insurance is designed so that the veterinary hospital is not involved with your specific policy or services covered, but rather reports the medical information to insurance providers, via a claim form. You may seek care at any facility however services are either covered at all of them, or not covered at all of them. Payment for approved treatments are given to the vet at the time of service. Once a claim form is submitted, the insurance company then arranges reimbursement directly with you, based on the plan you've enrolled in. I hope this helps. Be aware that many insurance providers don't cover pre-existing conditions so it's important to communicate with them if you are unsure of the policy details. Let us know if you have any further questions. Best
