Mia & Co. at Animal Samaritan's Indio reminded me why veterinary medicine, and probably human medicine too, should not be profit driven. Stevie Licks has been to 6 vets in the past 2 years, and Animal Samaritan's in Indio was the best experience, best appointment, best vet she has ever seen. They are compassionate, thorough, patient and treated me as a partner in Stevie's health management, as opposed to a customer to be billed. I believe Animal Samaritan's will be Stevie's forever vet, and would recommend anyone else that thinks healthcare for pets should be driven by a need to keep pets healthy, not make money, to take the time and support this organization. 🐕♥️👼⚕️

I had a horrible experience here on 5/13/22. I brought my Frenchie in for an ear infection. Vet diagnosed him with an ear infection and my dog didn't make out alive!! They sedated him to clean out his ear. He died during sedation. I'm not sure if they took the proper precautions when sedating a brachycephalic dog like a Frenchie. I was told an investigation will take place. After, my experience I have ZERO trust in this clinic. DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE!
VA Magles
Took my lil guy there. They loved him he had a good bill of health. Got his vaccine he needed n we bounced my gf brought me cause I can't drive thanks babe! Ur the best. Under a Benjamin for the check up n vaccine. Still had change!! Lol so not to bad. That's my 4.4 lb. buddy napping after the visit. Something he does quite perfect!

Covid Review: The process is slow due to the precautions the clinic takes. Once you drive into the designated appointment spot, you wait until a nurse comes out to collect your let and afterwards talk to the doctor through phone. Glad they are being careful but also wish I could be with my pet during the process

I need to put my 8 yr old dog to sleep how much would it cost?
They do spray at the location on Petland place in Thousand Palms you'll have to check the address exactly it's next to the County Animal Shelter I'm not sure about the Indio location on Jackson Street but you can check that out by their telephone their prices are generally the best available for the services.
Give them a call for an exact price. When I adopted my pup at the fair it was very cheap.
Wednesday is clinics days and discounts for shots
They are very caring... highly recommend them.... not costly compare to other places.
Can I see a picture
They won't take a found pet, I've tried already. They'll send you to the shelter in Thousand Palms, off Bob Hope, as said.
About 130.00
Mass removals, dental cleanings, wound care, broken bones, ear hematomas. Other sedation procedures too for pets who are fearful or anxious.
Ok ty this was the closest one to me
I would estimate at least $15+. They're supposedly non-profit, but since they're also an Urgent Care facility, their costs are rather high. I realize that veterinarians and vet techs are in high demand, however, I don't believe a non-profit should be charging such high prices. Staff is great, but the costs are not.
$20-$24 per pet, per vaccination
I'm not sure..call directly but also ask them about the Riverside county program for lower or no cost spaying/neutering.. Ty for being a responsible pet owner🙂
We went there, my husband bought some spark plugs. Definitely open.
Hi. Call and leave a message with your phone number and they will call you back. I don't know the charges for cats as I have a dog.
I'm so sorry I don't know.
Thousand palms animal campus. You need to pay for their care. Can't you find a forever home instead?
No they dont board
No you take your dog to them to be vaccinated
I do not know ... prebute ... aye.
Yes we offer the canine flu vaccine. It’s a 2 shot vaccine. First one then a booster a few weeks later. Walk in service
They will get there first shot if pup is more than six weeks old.
If it's an emergency, I think you have to go to the one on Jefferson across from home depot. If not, I think you do need an appointment. They are pretty busy there and stock to their schedule(unless you come for vaccines on a walk in day). But I really liked the vet
You'd have to call them for that.
No, however they do offfer their service to the Riverside Animal Shelter on Petland Ave in 1000 Palms...and you can adopt from them.
That answer I don't know, though past experiences with AS is that they are lower than VCA and other Corperste Veterinarians... They are nice folks, will do everything to help.
Yes
Wednesday is discount day. Not sure what cost is though
Good samaritans would be good but if not eating or drinking call them tell them tbe dog is not eating or drinking and but you have no money til Tuesday but your concern dog won't survive if you wait. Plus doubt shots would be given if dog sick must treat what is happening now. Also if fog given shots where is dr records a receipt.you need when getting license for dog. And rabies tag. Also since money is tight have dog spayed or neutered vet will know appropriate age.See about having chip put in at same time then under anesthetic once plus due claus if dog still has they can get caught very easily and hurt dog.
There are services provided by bus one a month or so for vaccines and neutering services run by different groups watch your paper or news channels for announcements. They microchip. Very low cost services.
He or she was saying how much did it cost
Animal samerations will provide you a list of rescue operations, but you may have to go to thousand palms site.
Take it to animal sameritions they may be able to find it a home. Take to one in thousand palms, dog pound is next door.
Yes Indio does x-rays, are Lhasa Apso has been in there for her episodes of kidney stones. Very compassionate and very thorough. They please all of our dogs. They do most of the surgeries a few miles away in the Thousand Palms office.
Not usually, no.
This is a walk in service. No appt needed
I believe it is at 8 a.m.
I think the base it on your income, I had my female done for 65.00, but I don't have any males, so call them, they are very helpful.
Go see the vet, and ask for help.
If your dog, or cat has been seen there before, but call ahead, and ask being that you would not want to waste gas on the drive.
Look up toy dogs, pick your favorite, you should be able to teach them to be quiet, Petsmart also has puppy training classes if you have any questions, or you could call your nearest Petsmart.
The Animal Samaritan's typically welcome community involvement and maintain an active volunteer base. Call their main office or better still, visit in person at the shelter of your choice!
