I ordered an item online, said I could pick it up at this location 5 in stock at this location. Had to make a reservation on the app to pick it up - app would not work. Sent my husband to pick up the item today and notified the app that he was there. The clerk brings out a different item than I ordered saying there were no more in stock. Waste of time and gas. Could not get anyone on the phone to help me. I do not understand how I can order something that is in stock when I order only to have it not there when we pick it up.

Pick up at the rear of the store was very quick. Parked, food loaded into my trunk by 2 employees and alerted to out of stock items. I approved the replacement items with no contact necessary. Entire pickup process was only 5 to 8 minutes if that! What a great way to shop!

I’m being generous with 2 stars for this store since I’m a fervent Walmart supporter and shopper. I can review a Walmart with grand experience since I’ve visited over 50% of their stores Nationwide either traveling in RV or working across the Country for a major Global Corporation. It’s evident this store is lacking experienced or limited management. I recently relocated to Ventura county in the last two years and still spend many days in miles traveling throughout the western United States. As I’m reviewing this store I’m not talking about little things that might be an inconvenience. From very seldom having a shopping cart in the bay inside the store, empty shelves in the men’s department. Now I realize this is a very busy store, but come on, can’t we even have some semblance of organization when people are in line waiting to check out and nobody is there to manage the chaos. Yet they can have someone incompetent at the exit checking receipts while anybody is going out the door with whatever they want if they intend to. It’s horrible security at its best. Just to be sure I’m not picking on this one store, there are other stores that don’t live up to the Walmart customer service expected by consumers. On a positive note, I spend part time in Northern California. There’s a store in Lodi CA that is fairly new in the last couple years and this store is absolutely impeccable, clean, management is attentive and employees have pride to work in the store. I’ve never been so impressed with Walmart ever. This review is so someone will take note and straighten out the store in Oxnard so it’s an enjoyable shopping experience and I can buy the items I visited the store for.

When going to Walmart you have to understand that customer service wise your on your own.If your looking for something that your not at least some what familiar with my advice is either shop on the online site or go elsewhere! Id say a majority of all Walmart workers have no clue as to what merchandise they carry or simply couldn’t be bothered to try and find out for you. They are too busy trying to fill the unreasonable daily stocking quota’s there given by upper management. Consider yourself lucky if you come across the rare Walmart worker that actually understands the idea of customer service and will strive to give customer satisfaction a real efficient effort! Don’t bother trying to go up the chain of command because as hard as it sounds it only gets worse! The only reason I ever bother venturing into this store is the lower prices I am guaranteed to find on certain items. The kind of items I can effortlessly find on my own and don’t expect to last very long . It’s pretty much a last resort kinda place. So lower your expectations and be prepared to do your own finding and you’ll be just fine !

Shopped only once at the Rose, Oxnard loc. Whether filled to capacity or nearly empty a store can provide good svc however yesterday afternoon took 30 mins before I was able to find a person to grab a Loreal prod fron health&beauty. Then another 10mins in checkout line. 1 sales assoc tending to 6 aisles of products responsible for unlocking cases for custoners and running the 1 register. I livr in SFV AREA so not familiar with this loc but it looked like theyre in the middle of rearranging/redoing floor plan. It didnt make sense how they organized the health, beauty, hygienes sections. Anyways if time is a factor i suggest early start or late evening.
Yes they are hiring. Apply, what have you got to loose.
Sorry I had to say something 2014 is about 10 years too late it opened in 1993 it was a 24-hour store for a few years it did go through a remodel but it's been a Walmart 1993
You search up what the number is for the Walmart you want to go to then call them. The front desk will likely pick up first. If you want to talk to another department you can ask them to transfer you to the other department’s line.
No. They have security people that run people off. Along time ago you could but the beggars and other homeless people ruined it for everyone.
Same thing I say when is the last few hours to close they only keep 2 people as cashiers and the self check out for card only or closed
Yes they have them in jewery in action alley
Yes but with the situation I'm not completely sure hours are changing tomorrow 3/19/20 they will open at 7:00 am
And!!
Thats a pretty specific piece you need, you might want to check their online store. Or go in to the store and speak to a representative
This isn't a question...I have noticed that over the past couple of weeks that the entire store has become restocked, reorganized and cleaner. I understand that larger stores are preparing for automation to support staff with restocking. I know there's more involved, but it improves the store and should make the staff more available to help customers.
I'm sorry I didn't get back to you on the phone with the answer you wanted but I don't speak Spanish English is all I speak and read or write If you want to file a complaint to the Google maps guides please be my guest God bless Good by
You must go during a slow time. Early morning is great. You're practically the only person in the store and there is a ratio of at least 5 employees to each customer because the over night stocking crew is still there. Ps. They're also good with answering questions or helping with finding a product. They don't typically provide customer service because of their hours. Thus, they are not burnt out nor exhausted by questions or need for assistance. However, keep in mind, they do not carry keys, nor have the scanners to advise of the next delivery dates... Also, it's the end of their shift. They just be exhausted in general because they worked all night.
You can alert the shopping cart retrieval corporation and the will have you fill a form then send a pic then they will pick it up
Yeah
Oxnard is the only place I know of that won't allow it, something about they don't own the parking lot. So far only in Oxnard. Alot of rv'ers have left alot of trash-a lot of homeless piggies in oxnard.
Can't answer without laughing. Wal-Mart? Really? Lame
Go to the office manager in person. They also have a computer kiosk.
If that doesn't work, try their online website where you can place an order.
I dont worl there and ask fot a rain check so when it is in they call you or holf it for you at the store
The Rose store has some. Whatever they don't can be ordered online and shipped to store for pickup
Yes theres people overnight but good luck getting someone to pick up phone
Norma Paris am glad you have had good service. But am not you I've had bad service that doesn't mean I don't like Walmart !!!
