First time platelet donor yesterday. I had no idea it could take up to 120 minutes process. Luckily the facility provided a collection of DVD movies to choose and Netflix to stream from. The facility is clean and the staff is nice.

The staff here is always incredibly friendly and the work they do invaluable. The facility is clean and modern and they process you quickly. Blood donations during the week are walk-in only, but they do take reservations on the weekends.

Nothing that I know of. There are occasional special gift certificates for giving platelets. It takes 1 to 2 weks to redeem the gift.
