I used to shop at this location a lot more about a decade ago due to location. I recently went in and I feel like what I observed is more a general societal trend than something specifically Nordstrom's fault. I always held this store up to a more professional standard than most department stores. I came in to purchase some cologne. The men's fragrance was just an island off to the side and an absolute mess. I navigated to the back wall fragrance section and not one employee I passed wasn't on their cell phones face down texting or distracted. No greeting, no attention. One finally looked up and pointed me back to the men's fragrance island. I told her it was a mess over there and if I had no idea what I wanted how was me going there by myself helping me out at all? I was walked over there and finally given some attentive help by the worker. It shouldn't have to be this hard though. I probably will seek out other options going forward. I don't like the idea of having to compete with a phone for someone to engage in customer service.

Nordstrom is one of my favorites in KOP. I only get my facial necessities here. Staff is always friendly. Location is easy but unfortunately it’s the entrance right off the main road and turnpike so it can be very hectic during peak hours. They do price match which is wonderful. I’m thankful that there is still a brick and mortar stores available to physically shop.

What can I say, it’s Nordy! My favorite place to shop for higher end merchandise and clothing. Generally a positive shopping experience overall. Clean store, friendly staff and consistent store layout. A great return policy. You pay for what you get.

KGQ NYC

Nordstrom has always been one of my favorite stores. Although they pack in a lot more merchandise than other upscale department stores like Neiman Marcus, making it look less attractive, they are still one thousand times better than dealing with inner mall traffic and mall stores. This Nordstrom has plenty of selection for women, men, and children for clothing, housewares, jewelry, cosmetics, fragrance, gifts, and shoes, shoes, shoes! There are decent promotions for new credit card applicants but buyer beware: you can hit you limit in a very short amount of time at this fabulous celebration of adorning one’s body. There are also nice lounge areas throughout the store for weary shoppers and those who just came along for the ride.
