The first time I came here was with my coworkers, and we were treated wonderfully from the time we walked through the door until we left! It's family owned, and everyone really works well together. Outstanding service aside, the food was to die for! Everything was so tender and cooked to perfection. SO MUCH FLAVOR! I literally dream about some of the dishes I have had here, and I am always excited to bring new people in for a true Persian experience. A must try!

Came in last night for an amazing dinner. We shared 3 different dishes with pomegranate salad and hummus to start. The food is seasoned so perfectly we hardly had any leftover. The meat is not overcooked. The basmati, which can be either overcooked and dry or goopy and wet, was cooked to perfection and nice and fluffy! Food is reasonably priced and the place was clean with ample seating on a Friday night. You can call and make reservations to ensure your group has a seat. Food was so good I'll absolutely be back.

Food is really good with good portion sizes. We ordered Zaferan family platter for 4 of us along with a side (Mirza Ghasemi) and it sufficed for all of us. It came with plenty of rice and thus it was a but dry, so we asked if we can get any "garlic dip". We thought it'd be just a condiment but we were served "maast o mushir", a person yogurt blended with garlic and shallots. This was surprising to us as the waiter did not clarify we'd be charged for it!! I'm taking a star out for this.

Delicious and big portion foods. I highly recommend Zaferan Cafe. My family and I are very picky about the food, quality, and the service; but we loved all the foods and kindness of the servers. We tried different kababs and stews with zaferani rice; everything was excellent! Because of the big portions, we were not able to finish all the foods so we took them home for dinner 😁 Thank you Zaferan Cafe. We will come back in our future trips to Salt Lake City.

Yes there are. Most dishes don't contain gluten. It's mostly meat, rice and veggies. I don't do well with gluten, so l ordered the Beef Koobideh.
They serve Persian food.
