This place is incredible. The care giving staff are extremely helpful and caring. Facilities are clean and easily accessible. Food is great and they take the time to make sure you are comfortable. Highly recommended!

what continues to happen here? who is the administrator? who is who? the short staff I get but who is the go to around here. Visited the website and see three people and the hair stylist that works there...who is the nurse? such a great building, so poorly run these days. why would anyone move their family member here? these seniors are suffering with little care. The management company throws around words...the regional is now gone again as well....

Pear Valley is a wonderfully located building in the heart of Central Point! That being said that is about it! I dedicated years of my life working for Compass. When I had first began my journey we were trained with beautiful curriculum and ideas of "elite person centered care". My team strived for this. They hired team members that cared about resident care. I don't know when this happened but the switch was slowly made to this money frenzy corporate environment. I have found most of these "elite private pay" homes are no different than there "Medicaid" counterparts. This place is a farm for your bank account and saving. I have never been so disappointed by the world before today and cannot believe the effort that goes into the propaganda they are selling. They cannot deliver the food, activities, care and qualities of life they continue to market. They treat there employees poorly when it suits them and cycle them out just as fast when they are burnt out. No continuity of care.

I've lived in southern Oregon my whole life and Central Point has been my hometown for the majority of it. My folks are getting to be seniors so my sister and I have been searching for different facilities for them. This Pear Valley facility is in a good part of town and will be brand new so my sis suggested we look into it. I'll say this, a facility is only as good as the staff that works there and while the sales gal is a real gem, we got a bad taste in our mouth from the Facility Manager, Matt. Myself and my sister looked into this place on separate terms and both had similar impressions. We wont be recommending this facility unless some managment improvement happens.
